I bought this with the idea of storing firewood upstairs so the teenager didn't have to grump up and down each night. I tasked him with assembly. Please provide instructions moving forward! As a solo mamma, I am trying to give him things to get him out of my hair not ask "is this right" every time he puts a screw in...

Wood stacker, fits in my little porch nicely, and yes I had to put some boards on the bottom to stop wood from falling through, but it’s way better than what I had,so all good.

Firewood Storage Racks Continual Faults

I have purchase several of the racks and have had nothing but problems. Several had missing parts and another had very poor welding and even a spilt tubing. Extremely disappointed.

Looks great and a good price. We put a piece of plywood on the bottom because as a lot of other reviews have said, the bars are too far apart and most of our wood would fall through otherwise. But I like that we can put it in storage in summer - better than a built in option which we were also considering.

There needs to be a bar along the bottom and up the sides to hold shorter wood in place. We had to put a plank in the bottom and carefully stack with longer bits at the side. Reading other reviews this seems to be a common problem. Would recommend with explanation.

Does what it says on the tin well -- sturdy and quick to assemble. The only thing it needs is a floorplate and end walls to hold shorter firewood. I made theses up easily from spare planks so not a big issue. Overall great value.

Not suitable for shorter lengths of firewood

The good: easy to assemble, nice looking. The not-so-good: the distance between the two bars on the bottom of the rack, because if your firewood is less than 350mm (14 inches) long it can't sit on the bars and will fall through.

I have two of these racks - the 0.9m version in the lounge, and the 1.8m version in the laundry next to the wood fired boiler. The smaller version holds enough wood for a week or so, looks good, and blends in well with the log burner. My only gripe (losing one star) is that the wood has to be long enough to not fall between the uprights - if you have short pieces, don't put them on the ends of the stack!
