✔ FREE ProVIS 30 1L Engine Oil worth $14.90, limited time.

Break down your garden waste quickly and easily with this quality wood chipper from Hyundai.

The included towing hitch is handy for larger properties, attach it to a quad bike or ride-on mower and cut down on time spent carting garden waste to your chipper.

With a heavy-duty 210cc 4-stroke engine powering a v-belt twin blade drive, it makes short work of small to medium branches up to 40mm in diameter depending on the depending on type and hardness of the wood - keep in mind that dry hardwoods such as manuka and mapou will need to be significantly smaller to chip effectively.

Thanks to its efficient self-feeding action, it’s simple to use - just feed in branches and twigs into the wide mouth hopper and watch as the extended discharge spreads valuable mulch to your desired location. The hopper is hinged for easy blockage clearance, while the extended discharge is especially handy for feeding directly onto a trailer, ute deck or wheelbarrow.

The precision HSS blades and hardened steel anvil cut clean and fast, while the pneumatic tyres and all steel construction mean it’s built to handle life at your place.

If you’ve got a larger property with multiple trees, vegetable gardens and flower beds, this bigger, more mobile unit will take care of it with ease. Order yours today.

q: Can it chip mature gorse and broom?
a: To certain extent yes, but really we'd recommend the 15hp model.

q: Will this handle kanuka branches under 40mm?
a: We would really look at the 15hp for something this hard.

q: Will it handle nikau palm fronds? My current chipper gets the stringy material bound up around the shaft and bearings
a: No it's not designed for that kind of material. Depending the size of the frond, slow speed silent shredder that uses a gear crushing system rather than a spinning blade might be a better option.

q: Are blades double sided - reversible?
a: Yes they are.

q: Hi, description refers to branches, sort of mentions vege garden waste, does this machine deal with the leaf growth on various trees from conifer to fruit trees and can it deal with waste like weeds and vege pruning offcuts ? thanks.
a: Yes, this will happily take your leafy tree branches. As for loose leaves and weeds this will be okay as well but avoid clogging the chipper up by feeding all at once. Chippers prefer to have greenery attached to a branch to help it pull everything through.

A good little chipper

Great product. Some minor adjustments to blade alignment to begin and then it worked really well

Ok for the price

Motor is great very fuel efficient. Chipper gets blocked up with leaves needing undoing nuts to unblock - annoying. It can't take the full diameter stated, unless its a specific moisture content (fresh wet branches are ok). It also rattles like mad and nuts undo so the spout turns around to the wrong angle. Its a little frustrating but kindof does the job for a cheapish price. Avoid leafy branches, use smaller wet branches, and keep your 13mm spanner handy.

7hp Hyundai Wood Chipper

Easy to move around either by hand or using the crowbar, would be easier to start with a centrifugal clutch I have used this a few times now it's great with branches but tends to block up with smaller leafy material

the wood chipper was easy to assemble. I have used it a couple of times now and it has worked really well. branches that were close to maximum recommended thickness were chipped easily. when I purchased / picked up the machinery I would have appreciated a note that the chipper comes without motor oil

Very happy with the wood chipper. Made short work of 3 large feijoa trees that we are replacing with a smaller variety, vines and other trees. Mulch looks great on garden paths.
