q: How is the Archway fixed into the ground? Are the 2 sides simply pushed into the soil, like stakes? Thanks for your help
a: There are quite a few options, it depends where you want to put it really. You could push it into the ground, use a peg and tie down system, concrete it in, drill and bolt it to wood etc.

Great Arch

It is a beautiful piece that is shipped quickly. Easy to assemble but it is not very sturdy but we love it as a beautiful entrance to our garden. Trade tested came through as advertised. Will definitely order through them again!

Quite sturdy for the price, will easily support a heavy climbing plant and easy to put together. Good width to walk through too, not too narrow.

Excellent product, turned out to be wider than said but that's better for us/ The only crit the pegs to hold it into the ground are useless, it would blow over in the first strong wind. We drove in 4 long pieces of tanalised stakes & tied it to them.

Easily assembled although some of the holes needed adjusting to fit properly, but nothing a handy person couldn’t deal with. Surprisingly strong.

We were quite delighted with this product - the price was most reasonable and we half expected a lesser quality product. So when we assembled the arch and put it in place we were well pleased with it in every way. Great value.

This was relatively easy and quick to assemble. Some of the holes for the screws didn't quite match up, but nothing a hammer couldn't fix ! Looks great.

Bought this for my wife for 80th birthday. Easy to assemble. Lighter than I expected but once anchored it sits well even in strong wind.I have it set in a concrete pad so had to modify a little to anchor. No problem. Wisteria growing rapidly and when it meets at the top I will send a photo. My wife loves it.

Looks good. Required some muscle to put together as a couple of pieces didn't fit together easily. overall a good product for the price of it.

Was very quickly delivered, sadly not all pieces went together easily, we anchored it into the lawn, for two weeks we left it there before planting to ensure it was in best position as one side looked and was out of shape, then we got a couple of days of windy weather and our arch got blown out of the ground , so now we are looking for some stronger poles to help it stay in place as the pins supplied are not really sufficient to hold in windy conditions. Would I recommend I have ticked yes but it’s a yes / no as it depends on there site

We bought this for our wedding and found that when you pulled the legs out so it was parrallal it was a bit flimsy but otherwise ok.

The arch is attractive but it was a little light weight....I was expecting something a bit more solid with the steel (if it is steel). However the price was around $70 so not a bad price and it may last as long as the Passion Fruit Vine I am using it for. I doubt I would buy a second one and I would have if it had been a stronger steel construction. It was easy to assemble a bit bendy but simple for a girl to assemble
