Are these kennels suitable for very wet & windy weather?
A:
In heavy rain & strong winds you will most likely find this won't be suitable for keeping your dog dry, especially as this is an open front kennel. We suggest covering these with a tarp in the instance of rough weather.

How can these kennels be fixed to the ground? We’re in a high wind area so 14kg is at risk of blowing away.

There a some holes around the outside of the base for you to add fixings suitable to your surface.

Yes this is a good choice, the plastic is tough and less palatable than other materials. That being said, if they're really determined....

Hi,I have two questions regarding the use of this kennel on a covered deck. Firstly, does it have anywhere to attach a chain to tie the dog up to the kennel? Secondly I wouldn't want our young (large) dog to drag it around. I read one customer mention it has 'tethers' but presume these are for use on grass only?
A:
No this doesn't have chain attachment, it's sturdy but we'd recommend attaching it to something stronger nearby. Yes correct, you can see the pegs in the photos, however you will need to switch these out for something suitable for wood.

Awesome!

Been looking for a dog house to accommodate my Belgian Malinois when we leave him outside for his daytime space. Ours is 8 months old, energetic as it should be so we have scoured the web for a suitable house. Our first choice was a Keter but reading its review and comparing it to TT over hundred now we opted for the latter. Setup was easy job. Instruction is clear and simple to follow. Once completed it is structural firm considering its plastic and held together by just small screws. We purchased a rubber underlay so its lifted off the ground about 10mm. I have the two sides screwed to the ground so its anchored in. My BM seems to like it. We have a storm this weekend so it will be interesting to see how it fares out. We are not intending to leave the dog outside but it prefers some time (2 hours) at least a day outside the main house.

Looks great. A bit tricky to start the assembly with putting the roof sides into the centre join single handedly but got there in the end and the remaining assembly steps were simple. Easy to clean. There are spikes supplied to anchor the kennel into grass; however, I keep my kennel on a wooden deck, and my 5-month-old puppy could push it around the deck as it wasn't secured down (thankfully he grew out of that phase in a week :)) You could probably use screws to secure the kennel to a hard surface if needed.
