Q:
Does this or any of the chainsaws blast through adult bamboo?
A:
It does cut through bamboo fairly easily. Like with any other chainsaw though, the bamboo may be susceptible to splitting due to its structure.

Q:
Is this fitted with an Oregan bar & chain? If not can it be fitted with these components? Are parts readily available should they be required? Many thanks, Richard
A:
This comes fitted with a Flash branded Bar and chain. But the specs are the same as the Oregon ones and they can be fitted to this saw. For any parts please get in touch with our Customer service team with your order details and we can help from there

No, I do not recommend this product.
Flash chainsaw

Fairly straightforward to put together for a novice. Started first time then stopped was a complete pain to restart. Since then have had no trouble with it cuts well ideal for a small lifestyle block.

Great value

Purchased this saw to cut down/chop up a couple of medium sized conifer trees over the holidays. Pretty simple to start, compared with some older budget saws, and was powerful enough to cut through green Leyland Cypress quite easily. Recommended if you are looking for a budget petrol saw for general home use.
