Relax in comfort and privacy with this stylish retractable side screen.

Stay snug and hide away from light prevailing winds, low-lying sun and nosy neighbours without having to build a permanent screen.

Constructed from durable UV stabilised polyester, with a strong and light aluminium case, this screen is built to last and is perfect for your patio, balcony, courtyard, or any other outdoor, or even indoor applications.

Installation is straightforward using the included mounting kit and it is reversible, should you wish to take the screen with you when you move.

The main unit is wall mounted, with the option of either hooking on to an opposing wall up to 3 metres away or being extended to the included free-standing pole. When not in use, just retract the screen into the casing to maximise space and protect it from the elements.

Hi, does the free standing pole retract just leaving a fitting in the deck or will we have to walk round the pole even though the awning is retracted. Thanks

Yes you can remove the pole, so just the fitting remains.

Yes, they are great for keeping the sun out. These are designed to be mounted to the floor, so as long as the hight can cover your window it will work

How does the screen lock out keeping it ridged if you only pull it out 2.3 m

The roller is sprung, so once you clip it on to the pole or opposite wall it will stay taut.

The whole unit is approx 75mm wide, the bracket bolt holes are 48mm apart, so this is the minimum width of surface it can be attached to.

Can these be used on two opposing weatherboard walls, given the lack of verticality of the weatherboards?

You would most likely need to add a wedge or two to create a level mounting surface.

It is not really designed to be. The material itself will resist a bit of water but it wouldn't stop it getting rain from getting around it, over it or under it.

Is it possible to use these as a retractable overhead shade, to go under a weathertight pergola?
A:
Theoretically, yes, this would be possible. However we haven't tested this ourselves, a little bit of DIY would be required to lock non mounted side from slipping out when taut depending on how you decide to fasten when extended. Let us know how you go.

Easy to install. We purchased this to help break the easterly wind. It did the job superbly. When not in use the easy way it could be folded away was brilliant and allowed free use of our deck area.

Retractable Slide Screen

Great product and everything went well with the install. I purchased two units and at first thought it was a little expensive but price brings quality and quality it is. Turns our terrace to a much more user friendly out door area. Provides shelter from both West and East winds.

Great for privacy

Fairly sturdy and easy to install. It creates the privacy we wanted. We havent tested in a storm yet but its easy to put away.

Retractable side screen for patio

Love so much we've bought two. Great for aesthetics (hides the garden shed when we're entertaining) and creates a outside room feeling .Great function, when weather's not so good, privacy, easy to install, use, and when not in use is discreetly tucked away.. I don't know about long-term because we've only got them, but they look and feel well made and will last. Be aware it takes a reasonable amount of strength to reel in an out. My husband does it with ease, me not so much.

Great wind break

Solid, good build quality. put on the side of deck to screen the wind past, attached between 2 posts. Works well and withstands quite strong winds (although they are mostly parallel not crosswind) created a nice room feel on the deck. recommended will get more.

This is a good product but it is not good in the high winds we have been having recently . I think that the slightly smaller blinds would be more robust.
