Powered by the interchangeable G-MAX 40V Lithium-ion battery system which delivers longer run time, higher performance and greater output on all G-MAX tools, it has all the power of your old petrol unit without the noise and pollution.
The 51cm laser-cut dual-sided steel blade gives super smooth cuts and can deal with the gnarliest privet up to 18mm in diameter. The head can pivot through 125° into 7 different positions for total flexibility, letting you can cover all the angles including the underside of your hedge.
Cushioned over-mould handles and a full loop front switch provide comfort and, when combined with smooth G-MAX 40V power, noise and vibrations are kept incredibly low.
This lightweight design includes safety features like dual switches to prevent accidental usage and a safety brake.

Really happy with my new Greenworks pole hedge trimmer. Surprisingly great run time on the 40V battery.
Researched a lot of long-reach hedge trimmers and settled on Greenworks because of reputation, owner reviews, and price. Does exactly what I needed it for and does the job perfectly. It does become heavy after prolonged use however attach a bag shoulder strap and the weight issue is solved. It's excellent as a long reach but awkward in tight spaces due to its length. If you could halve the boom length as an option that would be perfect. I'm undecided whether the trigger system is robust enough to withstand regular long use. I am very impressed with the battery running time and this surprised me for a 2Ah battery. Loving not having to get up onto a ladder and/or run out power leads. I trim my hedges more often now resulting in less clean-up time.
Such a great item. We should have purchased one years ago, so easy to use and light.

This gadget is brillient for keeping high hedges neat and trimmed . No need to stand on steps , just walk along with the cutter passing easily over the sides and top of the hedge . Makes easy work of a tough job !

this tool has been a godsend for me as the hedge had got out of control, now I can reach everywhere without a ladder. Great news for an eighty year old.

I have used this to trim a number of high and hard to reach hedges and similar. It is great to use and superior to.my old heavy petrol trimmer

I love my Greenworks garden tools. I have another smaller 18v hedge trimmer that has mostly been okay, but the added power of this one has made my job so much easier. I still get the loopers out for some thick branches but for the most part this hedge trimmer is all I need now. It is a little tiring for long usages, but I imagine it would be easier with a strap.
