Workshop 2.4kW Fan Heater

Great product if I had it in the start of winter would have spent more time working in the garage. Next year.

Very nice unit

This is a very nice unit, works well and am happy with it mostly, the reason it did not get 5 stars is because it seemed to blow the fuses in the house for some reason, ended up getting one of those surge protectors which seems to have solved the problem.

Works as it should

Works well to provide a consistent temp in a house to dry interior plastering . Not noisey like a straight wind blower of the same shape. Also good to blow warm air down the hall to the kids bedrooms on cold nights .

Toasty warm

Got this for my 23sqm sleepout-style workshop. Keeps it toasty warm. The built-in thermostat is quite sensitive so it cycles often meaning no fluctuations in temperature. Very happy!

workshop fan heater 2.5Kw

Does all it should. Just one gripe. Many workshops have their power sockets well up off the ground - for safety. As does mine. The lead on this heater is just long enough to reach it as long as the heater is directly under the switch. It's meanly short, I can't move it anywhere without an extension cord

I'm a big fan

It gets bloody cold in Central Otago, but not in my shed. This heater works well to heat up my 16 sqm jam room so I can annoy the neighbours with my guitar playing all winter. It helps keep my hands nice and warm for those finger blistering solos I keep getting wrong. Solid construction and the fan is quieter than I expected. Heats the room quickly and nice to know the safety tilt switch is there which seems to workwell. There is a screw missing out of the casing when I received it out the box, which is a little annoying, but in all honesty it's not an issue and I'm happy with it. I'm pretty sure the Trade Tested crew would have sorted out the issue but didn't seem worth it. A good product!

No, I do not recommend this product.
Reply from Trade Tested These are designed to be used in smaller workshops and garages up to 20m2 - anything bigger will require a bigger heater.
