Industrial Dehumidifier 50L

Initially impressed by its stylish looks and clever construction (such as magnet to keep door closed, rather than a catch which could break - it turns out the door vibrates and hums as the machine operates. The dehumidifier does manage to pull moisture from the air quickly, however effective capacity is limited by the fact that the 7L capacity advertised is false; the machine in fact becomes full and turns off at 4.97L. Unfortunately, during operation water makes its way outside of the tank and collects on the metal base under the plastic tank - I suspect this will eventually rust out the bottom of the unit. There is a "Full" indicator light which is handy. However, the accompanying alarm is ridiculous - loud and intense - reminds me of and old electronic alarm clock - goes non-stop until you turn the appliance off at the wall. I can hear it from the footpath outside my work. I can hear it (just) from my house next door .. and it doesn't stop until I unlock my premises, go inside, and switch the damn thing off at the wall. I will reiterate, for the purpose of extracting moisture from the air; this machine is effective.

My husband told me that we didn't need a dehumidifier because our house "breathes" The dehumidifier was full within 24 hrs. Very happy with my purchase

Great product. This is out second purchase for our kennels. The last one was purchased 3 years ago and still works fine, although its a little bit noiser now. Only fault has been a temp sensor. AAA

I purchased this dehumidifier in January . Today is the first day I have plugged it in and I have discovered it is very noisy. Only suitable as an Industrial machine but way to loud for domestic use.

This unit is working really well, its pretty quiet and super easy to operate. I recommend it!

Brilliant tool for a drying room. No more wet coats, boots and packs. This works far better than a non commercial model.

Brilliant machine, keeps my workshop dry and makes it feel warmer because it's dry. Only thing I didn't like is that when the reservoir is full it beeps continuously until someone empties it, had to rig up the hose to stop that being super annoying.

Works perfectly in our two large buildings, has dried space up really fast well and feels much fresher and warm. Not too loud, Highly recommend!
