Do these bins take a bit of a hammering. They don’t just crack if you look at them, like others on the market?

They are pretty sturdy units. They can take a few funny faces thrown their way.

Are the handles sturdy

Yes they are, they are moulded into the main structure so no chance of them coming off.

Are these vermin-proof with lids on? As in to store things in ceiling space where rats might get in.
A:
I'm afraid these are not 100% vermin proof, vermin can chew through plastic bins. These are thick but it will simply take the vermin longer to chew through.

Great Idea for Garage Storage

Recently I bought a 6 pack of storage crate fish bins. These were great for placing all the junk from our garage in, while we put it into storage. We had to have some repairs done after storm damage. We liked these bins so mauch we diecided we needed a second 6 pack. They are stong and the ideal size.
