Designed to work specifically with Bestway above-ground swimming pools that use between 1,100-62,000L litres of water, the Bestway Filter Pump helps to filter and clean the pool water of dirt and contaminants.

This pump’s water flow rate (pump capacity) is 9,463 L/h with an integrated pool system water flow rate (system flow rate) of 7,760 L/h.

Compatible with 3.2cm / 1.25" valves using the included adaptors & can be connected to 3.8cm / 1.5'' threaded valves.

Kit includes: 1 x filter pump, 1 x set of adaptors, 1 x filter cartridge.

Can I use this waterfilter for my fishpond 6.8 cubic metres?
A:
You could, It is a powerful pump for a body of water that size so it would be very clean. The only issue is that the cartridge filter is meant for pool debris, not biological waste or fine suspended solids in ponds so the filter is not ideal for that purpose.

Can this pump be used for a salt water pool as opposed to chlorine? - I guess it is a replacement for a sand filter?
A:
No these pumps are not compatible with salt water. You can replace it with a sand filter if you would like to, a lot of people do this because the sand filters require much less maintenance and are more cost effective long term.

I want to mount this about 2m below the pool (at the bottom of retaining wall), will this pump have enough pressure to push the water up that far?
A:
Bestway recommends that the pumps be set at the same level as the base of the pool. They will not be able to life the water the 2m you need

Can this be used with a small in ground pool The filter will be above the water level

This pump will work with Above Ground Pools with 1,100-62,000L litre capacity and comes with fittings for Bestway pools. It can be used above the water line, but you will need to ensure you do not have any air leaks in the piping and that you properly purge any air out of the system before use

We can only recommend using the filter that Bestway advises for their pumps

Yes, this pump will do the job. It's rated up to use with 1,100 - 57,500L pools and the Bestway Steel Pro Frame Pool Set 4.57m x 1.22m is (90%): 16,015 L

We brought this pump because our old one had expired, it's bigger than our old pump so we where hoping it would be better. Well it's worth every cent i say, very quite and circulates the water in the pool really well compared to our original pump, well made, easy to clean and easy to set up, such a good pump.
