I had a limited time use of this new tool. Very portable, no need to worry about power cables, and relatively quiet. The battery needs to be fully charged to prevent it from stalling, while cutting the timber planks.

Does everything I want and uses the same batteries as my garden tools. So versatile.
Who doesn't like power tools? This is a goody. Light, easy to use and powerful.
Works very well. Did buy a different blade (have not tried the one that came with it) and used it to cut pailings. Great not to have a long cable running through the garden, can take it anywhere. Certainly recommended for the home handyman.
Great for my DIY work. Light and easy to use. Battery is quick to charge. Highly recommend for the DIY'ers like me.

I have quite a few of the Greenworks 40V garden power tools - but I was quite amazed to see that the Greenworks 24V Circular saw is equally powerful. It cuts cleanly and as a DIY enthusiast I love it.
Great product , so easy with the battery
I used this saw a couple of times and was pleased with the power, balance and ease of use. However, when I used the ripping guide I found that it wasn't a snug fit when it slid through the bar locating holes ie, the bar is 12 mm wide whereas the holes that it slides through are 14 mm wide. This made it impossible for the ripping guide to run parallel with the saw blade. It is possible to set it up parallel initially, but the bar is locked with a single clamping bolt and even light pressure allows the bar to pivot thereby upsetting the parallel geometry; this renders the ripping guide useless.
