This does not pick up voltage , it is pretty inaccurate for studs and edges etc, and does not do as good a job as my old unit.
Item arrived with flat battery and was faulty as it didn't work properly as half of its operation didn't function .
When I received this stud finder I found that it would sometimes work for a short while but then it would start screaming at me and I would have to recalibrate again. The AC voltage indicator will also light up when it is a long way away from mains power. This unit is faulty.
Finally, a stud and power finder that actually works. Calibration can be a bit finicky but once this has been sorted, it’s great to use. A lot for very little cost always help as well.
Not sure the other functions very trustworthy
This device is brilliant, this item helps our team locate an array of difficult building obstructions and this assists us with locating those key hidden items that enables us to complete jobs and tasks with ease and saving us $$$s by eliminating second guessing locations of problem items.
Found very useful for installing shelves and art on walls.
