Is it ready to use for the price or is the price really higher because I will need a battery and charger? I don't want to buy the charger and have it couriered only to find I then need the rest for it to be operational.
A:
This is for the skin (tool) only, so if you have no other Makita 18V tools you'll need to buy a battery and charger. However one you have an 18V LXT battery & charger they can power a whole range of Makita tools. It would ultimately be much more expensive to own a useful collection of tools if they all came with batteries because (as you've noted) the batteries make up a big chunk of the cost.

No this is high pressure, but not high volume. You need a high volume low pressure pump.

No this is designed to work with the 18V LXT Makita batteries, so if you don't have existing Makita 18V tools, you'll need to purchase a battery & charger separately.

Would this be enough to pump up tubeless tires?

This will probably not have the volume to seat the bead on larger tyres, it's more for inflation/adjustment. You may need to do some further reading for your particular application.

Great product, does exactly as described in the information provided. What I like is this Tyre Inflator would continue to pump until the preset desired pressure is reached without removing the load bearing off the Tyre. I would recommend this product .
