Construction Points:
A good foundation is the key to guaranteeing the longevity and quality of your cabin. Only a completely level, rectangular foundation and bearers will ensure problem-free installation of the cabin.
The floor must be a minimum of 50mm off the ground, preferably more. The underside of the floorboards and the joists should be painted thoroughly and care taken to ensure enough airflow under the house. We recommend using Malthoid DPC between joists and the ground.
Your chosen site must be levelled and compacted to minimise ‘settling’. We recommend using strip or spot foundations, concrete foundations or pavers or a cast concrete bed.
If unsure consult with, or have the foundation prepared by a specialist.

A very good product, goes together easily but you do need to think about it. One of the key things is unpacking and sorting the various sections. Have used the roofing felt that seems to be good quality, I was going to put a color steel roof on it and may in the future. Highly recommended.
An amazing product easy to follow instructions great product . Finish of the wood is exceptional. Great family project
Quick and easy to assemble. Building knowledge is definitely helpful. Added additional features like colour steel roof, gutters, water tank and capped the corners with metal flashings to provide extra protection. We love the finished product! Thank you Trade Tested.
Not finished outside painting yet due to inclement weather and needs another coat on the untanalised wood. Hence the small decking and step haven’t been built. Had floor prepared by a separate builder as has to be very accurate and he insulated this for warmth. Not sealing the floor inside but covered it with hardwearing carpet. It is a lot bigger than you think and would be brilliant as a sleepout. The whole delivery and assembly was very efficient. I bought extra slates for the roof to make sure it would be waterproof and it certainly is but I think this is due to the experts who assembled it.
This was easy to put up, took me 8 hrs on my own. I followed a previous review and built a platform with ply to sit it on which made it easier. Agree with previous reviews, lay everything out and look at the plans and instructions to see what is what before you start. I had some extra boards left over from back wall x 2 and roof x 1. Built a porch too which finishes it off nicely, photo shows only partially built. Will also put a steel roof on as suggested by others as the felt supplied will not last but I knew that before I bought it. We have fitted a Winnerwell stove which heats it up and we cook on it so all set up for glamping while our house gets built!
