We know sheds Over the last decade of selling sheds in New Zealand, we feel like we’ve learnt what Kiwis want. We’ve taken every nugget of customer feedback, along with the vast experience of our shed assembly crew and refined it into what has fast become New Zealand’s favourite shed.

Interlocking u-channels mean that assembly is simple, eliminating all the fit issues you’ll find on a lesser shed. The integrated door jamb helps keep the weather out, while the rigid profile steel panels and 12 Year No-rust Warranty mean your shed will be looking great for years to come.

With a huge range of sizes and configurations in stock, we’ll always have the right shed for you ready to go.

Trade Tested recommends installation on a concrete slab to provide the strongest possible base. A strong and level foundation will improve the structural integrity of your assembled shed.

Sheds are kitset and come with assembly instructions. Our expert customer service team are on hand to help if you need it.

As this garage is over 10m², consent is most likely required by your local council. Specifications and diagrams are included with this cabin, however PS1 documentation is not available. Make sure you check requirements with your local council before purchasing.

Trade Tested takes every precaution to prevent damage during delivery and our packaging is designed to withstand some of the toughest treatment in transit. However superficial delivery wear is sometimes beyond our control.

q: Can this be treated for a recording studio setup for drums?
a: Potentially, you would most likely need to build some wooden framing to install sound deadening, plus we're no experts on acoustics!

q: Hi this is a shed? Can I use it as a garage, if so what do I need to modify it if anything?
a: You may want to rebate the floor so the lower door channel is below the floor level, or add a ramp or rubber cable protector or similar over it - this will stop your vehicle deforming the door opening. No other modifications required, just check your vehicle fits through the door openings!

q: Is it possible to get double doors at both ends or a larger side door?

q: Will the workshop sheds stand up to Wellington winds?
a: Depends how well they are built! They're pretty sturdy, however these are not designed for what an engineer would term a high wind zone.

q: Please tell me does this bolt down onto a concrete pad? if so are the fixings supplied, also can installation be done by the home owner?
a: Yes it can, however you will need to purchase masonry screws or dynabolts to do this. This is designed for DIY installation.

If you’re prepared for a few cuts to the hands and a few days of graft this is well worth it. You can easily pay so much more elsewhere. I had to improvise a little and add better locks but overall very happy. Goes without saying though a good solid base is essential.
