Q:
Hi, can I put clothes or fabric into this garage?
A:
We wouldn't suggest it, especially if not in sealed storage as condensation can be an issue in steel sheds (maximise ventilation to help), have a look at our resin options from Keter which are less susceptible to condensation, even then we wouldn't suggest storing fabric in unsealed containers.

Metal shed

The shed is OK, but the instructions were vague in some places. If I were to do it again I'd probably pay more and build 1 from scratch. I'd recommend before buying 1, if possible view 1 physically 1st.

Good shed

Easy to assemble, make sure you make a flat base before building shed. Also, either build a false floor on top of base or use loads of sealant. Rain will definitely get in otherwise. All in all a good shed for the price

OK Cheap Shed

Built this for friends, hubby helped, both wives needed to help get the walls up, took 13 hours in all. The floor was already down as per instructions and the boarded area was too small for the finished walls. The shed instructions and videos do not match the floor instructions, the bottom corner braces are designed for a full width flat floor but the floor info says leave a 1 inch gap all round so the walls land on the joists. that means the corner braces have to slide under the floor boards, which had been nailed down! A pry bar, hammer and hacksaw later and the walls were up. The clamps provide to fix the walls to the floor are for mounting on a flat floor rather than with the floor inside the walls, they just work if turned upside down. I printed out A4 size instructions from the PDF on the website as the A5 pamphlet supplied was too small for my old eyes. Instructions a bit lacking in detail and some of the translation was dodgy "screw rivet" insult or instruction? The drill bit and rivet gun provided are useless as expected so I used my own. Tek screws were the bluntest I'd ever used, half of then ground rather that cut through the flimsy sheet. Once the ridge is on the wives could depart but braces are needed for the flimsy side walls until the roof is screwed on. To fix the middle of the roof ridges I had to use a timber prop under the ridge and crawl over the ridge trying not to dent the roof panels. Luckily I'm a pretty agile 90kg 61 yr old, a young apprentice would've been handy! One small dent and all was good. The "weather strip" way too short and useless. Channels at the roof lower edge and wall bottoms have virtually no drainage so that has to be added. Waiting to see if the Tek screw washers keep the rain out, I was very careful not to over-tighten them. Once all up and the bracing on with three rivets along each wall corner join and it is surprisingly rigid. If you can put it up yourself it's value for money, I'd add a wooden frame though.

Garden shed

Great purchase which was desperately needed to be able to empty a previously flood damaged garage in the Westport floods. It has a huge amount of space with the ability to alter the doorway and is perfect for what we need.

Garden shed

Overall a good shed for the price. Took 2 days to put together with 2 of us.Had 2 problem's 1:the weather proof tape for the gable was short by 1meter lucky we had some similar.2:how are you supposed to screw the roof tiles(V155) without getting on the roof lucky I only weight 50kg so on I hop to get the middle screws. Read the manual 3 or 4 times before you start each time you pick up something different.we used silicon to weather proof seals and around the insides between the bottom channel and concrete slab then drill holes in the bottom channel on the outside as these are water traps.no leaks so far
