Product overview

This free-standing, Arizona 5000 Arch double carport is a stylish & versatile addition to any property, thanks to its new-age design and sleek dark grey finish, it’s the perfect combination of form and function.

A top quality, high intensity alloy frame is powder coated for durability and combines with galvanised steel ground anchors for an exceptionally strong structure. Backed by a 10 Year Limited Warranty, you know it’s designed to handle New Zealand conditions.

The solid polycarbonate roofing panels feature a dark grey tint and an anti-UV coating that blocks 98% of harmful UV rays, essential for protecting exposed skin and car paint finishes. Highly impact resistant, the panels are approximately 200 times stronger than glass of the same thickness and feature excellent insulating properties, creating a cool shady area on those hot Kiwi summer days.

The Arch design is great for providing ample parking or coverage, with all poles placed on the outer sides, making these structures versatile with the large open area underneath.

As well as a carport, it’s perfect as a patio cover, next to the pool, over the deck or for making your barbecue area an all-weather, year round outdoor kitchen.

Installation should be in a sheltered location and we recommend using concrete footings, especially in windy areas. Concrete footings should measure W 70cm x D 140cm x H 60cm (see product manual below for further details).

A stylish and versatile addition to any home, transform your driveway, patio or outdoor entertainment area by ordering yours today.

Q:
It looks like there is plenty of space for leaves to wash down the roof "valleys" (about 15 - 20mm?) and into the guttering. We are surrounded by large gum trees with flat leaves which would definitely get through that gap. Is there any form of gutter guard built in? If not how would these be removed from the gutter please?
A:
There is no gutter guard built in. To clear out the gutters you can flush them by spraying a hose down the other side and you could also take off the faceplate if the debris is too large for the drain holes. We don't recommend you take the face plates on and off too often and you might be better looking at adding a DIY mesh gutter guard

Q:
What happens to rain water onto the roof?
A:
The rainwater runs down the roof panels and into the frame with an internal gutter. This then flows out the sides of the beams from the holes you can see in the product photos

Q:
What size concrete pad is recommended??
A:
At a minimum, the supplier recommends concreting each post into the ground using the following hole dimensions. Concrete footing dimensions: 140cmL x 70cmW x 60cmD. You can still pour a larger concrete slab if you wish, just make sure the footing dimensions around the posts are met. Have a look at the manual at the bottom of the product page as this has full concrete recommendations.

Trade Tested Palram Arizona Double Carport

Hi team, just wanted to say how pleased we are with our Palram Arizona carport. I would recommend anyone purchasing one to hire a qualified builder to erect this as it rewuires precision placement of the foundations. Licenced Building Practitioner Thomas Faulkner and his team from Invercargill did a superb job erecting the carport. Thomas was very impressed with the quality of materials and finished appearance of our carport! Since having it finished, we have had many, many positive comments from neighbours and other tradesmen who have all been impressed by the superior quality of the carport! I wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few more go up around our town! Thanks guys for delivering a superb product!

Nice but not easy to build. Worth the money!

Thought this was an easy build based on the instructions had to look on youtube as well as they have similar palram product.

Quality carport that I was able to assemble by myself as the roof go together in sections. Looks great compared to other alternatives with proper corrugated polycarbonate roofing.

Palram Cantilever Double Carport Arizona 5000 Arch

Nice looking carport. Already had people stopping at my property and asking about it. If I was to build another I would probably assemble the frame before pouring the concrete footings. One of the aluminum supports moved while pouring the concrete so things didn't line up as well as it could of. But mistakes were hidden!

Quality carport

I found the instructions very good and the result is an amazing looking carport. An impact driver is a time saver putting in the self drilling roof screws.
