Q:
Would this light project far enough up to illuminate a tree if placed under the tree? The tree is approximately 5 metres high and 4 metre diameter.
A:
This might work ok, but for maximum affect we would recommend one of our solar spot light options

Hi, are these suitable for coastal conditions, are there any metal components?
A:
These are made of Stainless Steel and are water resistant. They should be fine, in severe marine conditions they may start to develop a tea stained look as the stainless ages.

Q:
I was thinking of setting these into the edge of my concrete drive, would they stand the weight of a car driving of them?
A:
Perhaps if you recessed them far enough in (including the rim) using 2 different sized hole saws (so they were below the surface level of the concrete), that said, in general terms by themselves they are not designed to take the weight of a car.

Hi there! Do they require direct sunlight? The area/wall we want to place them are south facing...so no sun in winter!!! Ta

They can operate without direct sun, but will be less effective depending on how much less light basically.

Been in the deck 1 month and they are rusting already. Not a great product at all, I am going to have to remove them and replace all the decking timbers where all the holes were drilled to house them, not impressed
