Q:
Could you use this to light up a 3x2m tunnel house at night to keep inside temperature from freezing?
A:
It would probably not produce enough heat. This lamp would give off approximately 0.075 watts of heat. To keep it from freezing you would be looking for something roughly 2.36 watts of heat as a minimum.

Q:
Where is the switch to turn light on/off - on the light or solar panel? I want to use this to light the inside of a container - will the daylight sensor interfere with this?
A:
The on/off switch is located on the solar panel. The day/night sensor is intergrated into the solar panel, the light activates when there is no light on the solar panel.

I have 3 of these now, and boy! they are perfect! Very strong light, all night. My garden is well lit, and looks so pretty.

Solar Floodlight made into portable BBQ light

The photo shows my Trade Tested 16 LED Floodlight in the wooden frame I made so that it was portable and could be used to light up my Weber BBQ. I am sure the wood butchery will impress you (NOT!) but I used the material I had to hand, and it is certainly strong enough and will not tip over with the weight of the light! The performance of the solar light is very impressive, and the large batteries that it was equipped with give plenty of light for the longest BBQ.

Phone Box Light

This product was bought to replace the last one which died after 5 years. It is exactly what is needed to light up our old phone box garden feature. Charges by day and automatically switches on at night, no cables messy power leads etc.

Shine all night!

This light is really good. Took it out of the box, set it up and it blazes away all night. I got up and just before daybreak and it was still one. Certainly throws out a good light as well!
