This high performance sand filtering system is ideal for use with larger Bestway pools.

Based on a natural filtration system, the water is pumped into a tank containing sand which soaks up impurities and particles to produce clean water for your pool.

The included ChemConnect™ Dispenser maintains and provides clean, healthy pool water. Dispenser release provides a stable level of chlorine needed for proper chemical balance.

The pre-filter strainer basket is an added mechanism that filters to catch larger particles such as leaves, hairs and dirt. Protects your pump impeller and longevity of your pump to continuously run smoother.

if using polyshere filtration balls how many do you need? packs?
A:
You will need approx half a kilogram, the packs we sell (Bestway Pool Filtration Balls) are 1kg.

It is 1.2 amps

How much sand does this pump require? Can I use pool glass instead, if so how many kgs?
A:
It holds approximately 20kg of sand. The manufacturer only recommends using #20 Silica sand, 0.45-0.85mm or polyshere balls so we do not recommend using glass.

I have an above ground pool with 25mm inlet outlets. Can this pump be used? Would it require adaptors ?
A:
This is made to be compatible with the Bestway pool range so the connections for the hoses are Ø38mm. You would need to find some adaptors to make it fit on a 25mm inlet/outlet.

Yes, this Pump will work with the Bestway Hydrium Pool range and uses the same fittings

The power cable length is around 3M, for installation some people have an outdoor power socket installed by an electrician

The filter you need

Upgraded from a standard filter to a sand filter this year has been a major improvement. Last year I was fighting algae weekly spending money on chemicals etc on a 10k L rectangle pool. This year a friend recommended a sand filter from Trade tested, and I have had crystal clear water ever since I installed it.

I am stoked with the filter we bought from Trade Tested.It was very easy to set up with clear instructions. I have vacuumed our pool a few times already with no issues along with a cheap vacuum cleaner.Good suction and the pool is clean in no time. Happy days

Fantastic investment have a large above ground best way pool that came with standard cartridge filter. This product works as described to a high standard and less work cleaning / replacing other filter. Pool is crystal clear. Timer makes life easier would definitely recommend.
