This is a great option for a simple outdoor shower install. The premise is simple and it works. I had someone install it for me as it needed to be drilled into concrete. I did have an issue with the foot tap but the support provided by Trade Tested couldn't have been better. I am super confident about buying from them again based on my experience.
Good product, build quality and finish seems good, easy to assemble and install. We have it positioned in full sun for most of the day and while the water is comfortably warm, it's far from piping hot and so far, we have not needed to use the mixer other than on full hot.
Easy to install and works really well. Would recommend.
On a sunny day this provides enough hot water for pre or post swim showers for 4 kids. The water is hot enough that it needs the cold added via the mixer.,it only needs the hose connected to provide pressure. It was recommended by a friend and has exceeded our expectation and replaced our cold shower.
This shower does everything we hoped it would do… lovely warm wash off of sand and salt water after a beach swim. Highly recommended.
it is quite nice looking and does work. reasons for not awarding it more stars - the mixer is only average in functionality - the shower head is cheaper plastic not matched with the chrome mixer or foot push button - the water input is plastic 12mm, needed to replace plastic fitting with a better one, but by having the smaller 12 mm input the pressure builds there, and the output flow is average - still not sure about its heat effectiveness
The hose must be turned on to work. The shower head drops a bit and sometimes the foot wash doesn’t turn off without assistance. It’s nice to use on a warm day
The shower looks really cool and was easy to install. My advice would be to site it where it gets all day sun. Our shower loses the direct sun at about 2pm. While it is up against a black wall, I had hoped that the water would have been a little warmer. It is great to hose off and freshen up after water sports in the sea.
So far it's been great.... Need more sun i think to get it to be fully warm!
Not very good, the tin hardly heats the water. Expected a little bit more.
