I am confused... the motor is 180W, the battery power 12Vx4000mAh, equalling 48W. ... What am I missing?
A:
You've actually calculated watt-hours, which is different (heaps of reading online for this), 180W is a theoretical max at a moment in time for the motor, but you're right to question it's not a particularly real world spec, however this is how the manufacturer quotes it.

Do you need to sharpen the comb teeth? And how is this done?
A:
You could get them sharpened. Most knife sharpening companies should be able to help with this, although keeping the blade well oiled and maintained should mean that this is not necessary. Failing that, we sell replacement blade for this.

Works great. Brought for clipping dirty cows tails wile milking and had no issues cutting or wet hands. 1 battery handles 400 cows tails

Better than expected!

We have 19 sheep, half self shedding and half need shearing. As a former Shearer many years ago I didn't expect too much from this product, but I've got to say im really impressed! Everything in a handy box, easy to set up. Shore all sheep on one battery easily. Even had a friend who had 2 fly struck pet sheep call for help, was so easy to run them into a pen, shear them right there, job done! No long leads or shagging around. Highly recommend this product for small-holders and lifestyles. Cheers

Used them for crutching and also swapped out combs and cutter and have sheared 25 sheep. Worked great with the 2 batteries swapping them over when getting low. Any more then you would need more batteries and another charger or charge over night and go again. Great for the price
