Potentially, although you may need to change the blade type (we don't supply this).

Q:
Do you need to sharpen the comb teeth? And how is this done?
A:
You could get them sharpened. Most knife sharpening companies should be able to help with this, although keeping the blade well oiled and maintained should mean that this is not necessary. Failing that, we sell replacement blade for this.

Q:
I am confused... the motor is 180W, the battery power 12Vx4000mAh, equalling 48W. ... What am I missing?
A:
You've actually calculated watt-hours, which is different (heaps of reading online for this), 180W is a theoretical max at a moment in time for the motor, but you're right to question it's not a particularly real world spec, however this is how the manufacturer quotes it.

Q:
Do you know if these clippers would be suitable for clipping llamas?
A:
Yes they should do the trick.

Sheep clippers cordless

So easy to use.Being portable means the odd sheep that doesn’t make it to the shearing shed can be caught and shorn in the paddock

Sheep shears

A great product that made life much easier.

Sledgehammer Tasman
Cordless handpiece

Gruntier than expected, handles crutching and fly strike with ease, definately paid for itself and saved time, so convenient and easy to use.

Rob Judgeford
Better than expectation

Bought these to shear 2 full wool valais. Exceeded expectation and done the job promptly. Only negative is the small comb it comes with, presuming it will take the wider setup

Very good easy going

Ok buy

Handy little set that's affordable. Battery doesn't last super long but there's 2 to switch between. Won't be fully shearing any more sheep with them - better suited to just crutching I think..

Sarah Auckland
Cordless Sheep clippers

The clippers come in a convenient case and after some use they are working well. Longevity of the battery is not that long and certainly way less than claimed but with two batteries that covers most small jobs that these clippers are designed for. There are no instructions on how the comb and cutters are to be sharpened. I own a shearing plant so the combs and cutter system is not a mystery and I have a C&C grinder but for a small block holder this could be an issue when these need a sharpen.
