Yes the lid can lift without the front doors needing to be opened.

What is the storage weight limit for this please? Looking for something to store 20kg bags of sand for a social service.
A:
There is not a specific load rating for the floor of this shed. It would be fine with storing sand due to its flat stored surface area which has an even weight spread.

Yes it will fit 2 x 120L council wheelie bins.

Q:
Can this store adult pushbikes? If so, how many can adult pushbikes can it store?

It does depend on the size of your bike's. But I would recommend looking at the larger sizes of Keter Box for storing bikes, the "Keter Store It Out Ultra 2000L Black Grey" we also sell can easily fit 2-3 Bikes

Q:
Could I store and use my vented tumble dryer in this (use with storage unit door open obviously), or would it be a fire risk?
A:
As this is fully made from resin there is no fire risk from the box itself, but you do need to be careful about heat. Ensure you have plenty of ventilation and an air gap between any of the hot parts of the dryer and the box. Heat will start to soften and can warp the resin, but we have seen washing machines, pool pumps, Generators, and more stored in these with no troubles.

Can you purchase a shelf for it?
A:
We don't supply shelves for this unit, however it would be pretty straight forward to make some wooden shelves, check out the manual (thereis a link on the website) for more details, the shelf size needs to be 122 (l) x 28 (d) x 2.8 (thick) cm.

Hi. Are these rodent proof? Have no gaps for the little buggers to get into them as I am looking at using it to store animal feed. Thank you
A:
There are no gaps big enough for a rodent to get through, but rats have been known to chew through plastic to get into the food inside so could potentially chew through the walls.

does this need to be secured to a fence or ground in windy areas?
A:
Normally the contents in the box would weight it down, however you can secure it to a fence or ground if need be.

Q:
Hi, can you open the front, without opening the lid? I want to store kids scooters in it and for them to be able to open and put away. They wouldn't be able to reach the lid.
A:
The lid needs to lift slightly, we'd suggest the Keter Patio Store 1000L for this.

Far from perfect

I bought this to store my domestic water pump and UV Filter system. In the first wind the lid blew completely off and broke the hinges so now it is weighted down with a few pavers. It was reasonably easy to put together but is not very sturdy. It looks the part though and in a very sheltered spot it would be okay.
