Relax in comfort and privacy with this stylish retractable side screen.

Stay snug and hide away from light prevailing winds, low-lying sun and nosy neighbours without having to build a permanent screen.

Constructed from durable UV stabilised polyester, with a strong and light aluminium case, this screen is built to last and is perfect for your patio, balcony, courtyard, or any other outdoor, or even indoor applications.

Installation is straightforward using the included mounting kit and it is reversible, should you wish to take the screen with you when you move.

The main unit is wall mounted, with the option of either hooking on to an opposing wall up to 3 metres away or being extended to the included free-standing pole. When not in use, just retract the screen into the casing to maximise space and protect it from the elements.

Can this be fitted into the lawn and be removed when it is not in use
A:
Regardless of where it is installed, it will require a couple of solid surfaces. It needs a solid wall to attach the cassette to, and a solid flat ground surface (usually concrete) to attach the ground pole to.

Hi, does the free standing pole retract just leaving a fitting in the deck or will we have to walk round the pole even though the awning is retracted. Thanks
A:
Yes you can remove the pole, so just the fitting remains.

How does the screen lock out keeping it ridged if you only pull it out 2.3 m
A:
The roller is sprung, so once you clip it on to the pole or opposite wall it will stay taut.

Yes, they are great for keeping the sun out. These are designed to be mounted to the floor, so as long as the hight can cover your window it will work

The whole unit is approx 75mm wide, the bracket bolt holes are 48mm apart, so this is the minimum width of surface it can be attached to.

Can these be used on two opposing weatherboard walls, given the lack of verticality of the weatherboards?

You would most likely need to add a wedge or two to create a level mounting surface.

It is not really designed to be. The material itself will resist a bit of water but it wouldn't stop it getting rain from getting around it, over it or under it.

Great Value

This is the second privacy screen I have bought from Trade Tested. Easy to install and sturdy. Even in the wind sun and having a blockhead Staffy shove his head underneath it multiple times per day it lasted over 2 years before the aforementioned blockhead finally ripped it.

Free Standing Pole

The ground anchor point can have the pole removed when not in use Plus has a protective cover, the failure is when the Screen is attached To the pole bends under the tension causing the screen to sag.
