Great idea to set this clothesline keeper into concrete. Once the line has been removed it can be driven over without incurring any damage so is suitable to be mounted practically anywhere.
Looks great haven’t used yet waiting to pour concrete
I absolutely love my clothesline and the tube was so easy to concrete in and it’s in a spot which is ideal in the winter and the best thing is I can fold it away in the garage over summer until it’s needed. It’s worth the money I paid for it. My normal clothesline does not get my washing dry as it’s at the back of my unit but it’s perfect in the summer. Thank you so much Trade Tested
Purchased this when we purchased the clothesline, havent had to use since clothesline came with a spike that seems to be doing the job.
This is a great wee product, allowing for easy installation of the Brabantia clothesline. My only small complaint is that the hole is just slightly too big for the clothesline pole, so it doesn’t stand perfectly upright, it ends up on a very slight lean. But apart from that it is a great product.
Found the tube to be a littles bigger than the washing line it was accommodating, so found the pole leans in the hole, hence the line isn't vertical.
Does the job
I pounded this bad boy in the ground with a huge mallet. Keeps the huge clothesline nice and secure, even in the gale force winds we've been having. Definitely easier than using concrete.
I bought it based on the page recommendation - I didn't end up using it. The clothesline comes with a tube that drives into the grass. if I were going to concrete it in, I'd use this. Until then, it sits on a shelf. My bad - didn't really read the description properly.
The item came with detailed instructions how to install it. Worked like a charm and is working well. Good quality (made in EU). Only drawback is you need to fit the pole to set it up plumb, there is no flat surface to do that without a pole.
