☆ Note on accessory compatibility: Blinds compatible with existing Louvre Roof Systems on all sides without a crank handle, shutters panels can be positioned anywhere there isn’t a crank handle. Both accessories replace the corner bracket during installation. For 4m sides (3.7m post to post), use a single 3.7m blind or up to three 1.23m shutters. See images above for more details.

I have a cobbled patio. What is the best method to anchor the unit securely to these?
A:
You'll need to created some concrete footings to bolt into, them cut the cobblestones around this.

Q:
can you fit the outdoor cover blinds to this? and is it possible to fix a side of this patio to your house?
A:
They're not designed specifically to go together, but yes you could attach. It's not designed to be wall mounted, so there would be modification involved - have a look at the assembly manual linked in the Product Description for a better idea of the components.

What happens to rain on closed louvres? How waterproof are they when closed

The rain drains off into the internal guttering system (there is a slight fall from the centre to the outside beams).

Q:
im looking to install one of these on a concrete patio ive made, how thick a concrete pad would it need to be to be able to bolt on the pergola? its a minimum 50mm thick.
A:
50mm should be ok, obviously the thicker the better but there are 4 fixing holes in each leg. Masonry anchors are essential. For it to operate correctly it has to be level.

Are the louvres aluminium? When shut is there a guttering system to move water sitting on top of the louvres down one of the support posts or does it just run through between the louvres to your furniture below?
A:
Yes they are, there is an internal guttering system that exits at the foot of the posts - you can see this detail in the pictures.

Easy to assemble - does the trick!

4 x 4 pergola was easy to assemble with 2 people. Whole thing has a little bit of wobble, glad to have the corner brackets, I'm considering fixing one end to the house, but having said that has done exactly what it's supposed to do and looks great whilst giving shade and shelter when you want it.

ideal unit - very happy with it.

pretty straight forward to put together if you follow the instructions. aside from a goof (me not reading the instructions properly) it all went together as expected. needed support from TradeTested for my instruction-reading error and they were super helpful and identified the problem. mechanism works well. concrete bolts are a soft metal (also not stainless) so we'll see how they last. there were a few very minor scratches in some of the powdercoating but that's probably to be expected with so many items all boxed together.

Great product

We are extremely happy with our louvre roof system. It took my husband and I about 6 hours to assemble it. Our deck was unusable as it was too hot. We only wish we had purchased this sooner.

Great value

We brought the Lourve system to finish off our decking space and it had made such a difference. We’ve used out outdoor area so much more- especially being such a wet summer it’s been invaluable. Surprisingly very water tight with great gutter drainage system.
