Product overview

☆ Note on accessory compatibility: Blinds compatible with existing Louvre Roof Systems on all sides without a crank handle, shutters panels can be positioned anywhere there isn’t a crank handle. Both accessories replace the corner bracket during installation. For 3m sides (2.7m post to post), use a single 2.7m blind or three 0.9m shutters. See images above for more details.

Create the stunning, multi-use outdoor area you’ve always wanted with this sleek, architectural louvre roof.

The integrated crank system allows you to easily and smoothly open or adjust the louvres. Open it right up and enjoy that perfect Kiwi summers day or keep it closed when the weather is changeable - the integrated gutters and internal downpipes make this roof system truly all-weather.

The crisp charcoal powder coat finish and contemporary style blends well with most outdoor areas, while the straightforward instructions make this a great DIY upgrade. The built-in gutters feature hidden outlets through the foot of each pole, letting the water disperse without the need for ugly pipework everywhere.

With its strong aluminium frame, louvres and galvanised fittings this roof system is built to last, while being easy to clean and maintain.

Each bank of louvres is operated by a separate gear crank system, so you really can tailor the shade to your needs. Keep one half cool and shady, then open the other side to vent the BBQ.

This amazing value free-standing system is the ideal way to add some architectural style to decks, patios, pool areas or any other area that you want to transform into a stunning outdoor living room.

During windy conditions, should I leave the louvre open or closed?
A:
You can leave them open or shut if its a gentle breeze however if the winds are becoming excessive it is recommended to leave the louvres open.

Q:
Given that the height of the structure is 2.3m above ground, and that the louvre width is 14.5cm. Does it imply when the louvre is fully open, the total height from top of the opened louvre is 230.0 + 14.5/2 cm or 2.38m?
A:
Close enough - total height with them open is 237cm - the centre pivot of the louvres is not level with very top of the beams, this gives a much sleeker look.

bearing in mind it leaks in the middle is there a gutter type solution to stop the water pouring through?

It does not leak when it is closed, there is an internal guttering system in the beams to efficiently deal with water run off.

Q:
I have concrete base. If rain water is channelled from the louvre roof through the 4 posts, will the rain water go into the concrete or be spilled on to the concrete? Thanks for your answer.
A:
It comes out the side of the post at the feet, you can see the outlet hole in picture 4.

Q:
Would it be possible to mount the top piece with the louvers onto an existing wooden pergola and not use the legs supplied?
A:
Yes theoretically, however you would need to cut the posts as they make up part of the corner. You would also need to block off parts of the drainage system. You can view the manual via the link at the bottom of the description, so you can see more clearly what might be involved.

3x3 Louvre

Overall a good product. Pretty easy to install with a bit of diy experience. The only let downs were the instructions were hard to understand around fitting the louvre blades. And the concrete fixings were rubbish, and looked ugly when installed.

Brilliant!

We love our free standing pagola, it adds to our options for indoor/outdoor living, its sturdy and looks great. We did a lot of homework before we made our purchase and for value, quality and money it won hands down. We had Mike erect it for us. He did a good job, he clearly knew what he was doing, he was friendly prompt and professional. We reccomend this make of pagola.

pergola

Easy to assemble. I bought both the 3 x 3 and the 6 x 3. They made the outdoor area look very smart.

Louvre Roof system

Absolutely stunning feature to our garden. It really requires at least two people to see it up.

Pergola

This pergola is proving to be a great asset to our property. It is well constructed and provides the shade required for our patio. We chose tradetested's pergola over other similar designs because of the central beam on the roof which creates two independent louvre settings and adds strength to the design.

Great value!

I shopped around quite a bit before making this purchase and this was one of the best reviewed patio’s on the market. Really happy with the finished product and it looks great. The supplied bolts were no good for fixing it to my deck (used coach bolts instead), and a couple of holes didn’t quite lineup while assembling, but these were only minor issues.

Great Addition

An elegant and complimentary addition to our outdoor living. Simple for my wife and I to erect. Both design and colour lift our home.

Perfect solution

We were wanting a bit of shade for outdoor dinning over summer. Plus a bit of shade for our lounge furniture when the sun is lower. We achieved both. We will add a blind to one side for increased shade sometime soon. Making it was like solving giant puzzle... but it came together well.
