Product overview

Create the stunning, multi-use outdoor area you’ve always wanted with this sleek, architectural louvre roof.

The integrated crank system allows you to easily and smoothly open or adjust the louvres. Open it right up and enjoy that perfect Kiwi summers day or keep it closed when the weather is changeable - the integrated gutters and internal downpipes make this roof system truly all-weather.

The crisp charcoal powder coat finish and contemporary style blends well with most outdoor areas, while the straightforward instructions make this a great DIY upgrade. The built-in gutters feature hidden outlets through the foot of each pole, letting the water disperse without the need for ugly pipework everywhere.

With its strong aluminium frame, louvres and galvanised fittings this roof system is built to last, while being easy to clean and maintain.

Each bank of louvres is operated by a separate gear crank system, so you really can tailor the shade to your needs. Keep one half cool and shady, then open the other side to vent the BBQ.

This amazing value free-standing system is the ideal way to add some architectural style to decks, patios, pool areas or any other area that you want to transform into a stunning outdoor living room.

☆ Note on accessory compatibility: Blinds are compatible with this Louvre Roof System on all sides and shutters panels can be positioned anywhere as this model features centrally mounted cranks. Both accessories replace the corner bracket during installation. For 3m sides (2.7m post to post), use a single 2.7m blind or up to three 0.9m shutters. See images above for more details.

Q:
Do I need a building and resource permit to erect in the back yard and can it be disassembled and used again
A:
No, you do not require building consent or a resource permit for these. If you have any concerns about it, we do recommend discussing it with your local council. Yes they can be disassembled and used again, you will probably require a set of the plastic lugs for the louvre shutters when you do but just let us know and we can source them for you.

Q:
Given that the height of the structure is 2.3m above ground, and that the louvre width is 14.5cm. Does it imply when the louvre is fully open, the total height from top of the opened louvre is 230.0 + 14.5/2 cm or 2.38m?
A:
Close enough - total height with them open is 237cm - the centre pivot of the louvres is not level with very top of the beams, this gives a much sleeker look.

Q:
I have concrete base. If rain water is channelled from the louvre roof through the 4 posts, will the rain water go into the concrete or be spilled on to the concrete? Thanks for your answer.
A:
It comes out the side of the post at the feet, you can see the outlet hole in picture 4.

Q:
Sorry to be so dumb, but when you say "freestanding" does this also mean the shelter/shade is not in someway attached firmly to a concrete pad or timber deck. I have concrete pads.
A:
Not at all, this is just a way of differentiating from a wall mounted patio cover or similar, it needs to be fixed to the ground rather than wall mounted - so your pad is ideal.

Q:
Can roll-up sides be attached easily?
A:
Yes, we stock both Mesh Blinds and Wall shutters made to match our newer model louvres. If you have an older model, please get in touch with our sales team to ensure they are compatible.

Louvre Love!

Loving my new outlook. Tried to put it up myself (F50) but roped my Dad into it and we did it pretty easy!

Louvre Roof System Review

Great product specially for the price, it fitted our need perfectly, I certainly recommend it. The only product improvement I would suggest is cross bracing just below the louvres. Engineering wise I am sure its fine as there is no loading on any of the sides. Would just make a-bit more stable.

Excellent

Very impressed with the system. We installed 3 in rental properties to prevent the tenants erecting their own shade systems. These louvres are well made and really add value. Our tenants are thrilled. They can dry their clothes on clothes racks under the louvre system in the pouring rain and it stays completely dry. It is like creating another room. Our builder said they were easy to install. Excellent outcome.

Excellent Louvre System

We are wrapped with our louvre roof system over our spa. It took us a long time to decide what to put in this space, and we are glad we took the time to do the research. The walls also provide us with privacy from the neighbours. It took us a bit longer to put up than we anticipated. We took a couple of days - kept coming back to it. It's sturdy, easy to open and close, fully waterproof and looks great. Photos don't do it justice! TIPS - work out which way the louvres fold & how you want them positioned, and where you want the handle before positioning it.

Gazebo for privacy

We needed this system (together with side louvres) to screen out a neighbour. We did need a Ute to collect it or pay delivery. Once we got it home managed to assemble in an afternoon with a couple of mates. The instructions we pretty good, in spite of this we did get things wrong a couple of times. Did follow instructions in the box, could have helped having larger diagrams in some cases. I expect these are available if we just googled them, instead of using dude intuition! We are super happy with them, not only does it screen the neighbour but allows us to change the amount of shade we have, and of course we are sheltered from rain. Irs given us another room in the house.

Roof system

I would rate the quality of the roof system 5/5 However the measurements are misleading and you need to understand that the overall is to the outside of the base plate that you fix to the ground .The roof is 2860 not 2960 as you would read . I purchased the 4m and 3m to go side by side and I was short by 200mm .This could have been my mistake but the measurements proved prior to purchasing are not so easy to understand
