Product overview

This beautifully crafted 6m wide wall mounted patio cover is our largest model, perfect for creating the ultimate outdoor area.

Create a sheltered spot next to the pool, weatherproof the barbecue area, turn your deck into an extension of your living room, or even use it as a carport; whatever you need a cover for, this wall mounted unit is up to the job.

The powder coated aluminium construction is guaranteed to look great for years to come and is designed to stand up to most sheltered New Zealand conditions. The stylish ironsand finish fits well with most outdoor areas and will definitely have the neighbours asking where you bought it from.

The 8mm twin-wall polycarbonate roof panels are UV stabilised to prevent yellowing and the twin-wall construction gives superior temperature control, keeping things cool in the summer by blocking UV rays, while still allowing plenty of light through. When the weather does turn, the built-in gutters feature hidden outlets through the foot of each pole, letting the water disperse without the need for ugly pipework everywhere.

Installation is straightforward, while maintenance is minimal, leaving you to get on with enjoying maximum time entertaining friends and family, or just watching the world go by from the shady comfort of your new patio cover.

I live near a golf course - would the flexi plastic handle a golf ball landing on it (bounce off) or would it crack/go through? Thanks
It depends on the angle and force of impact, but generally we're confident it will stand up to this.

Can a shade sail be attached to the posts? We have an upper deck this would suit and are wanting a shade sail over the lower deck. Thanks in advance.
We generally wouldn't recommend it due to the high loads involved in tensioning the shade sail correctly.

Great Product

I ordered this a few weeks ago now and finally installed it over the weekend. With the exception of ONE screw, it went together effortlessly. Now that it’s up, I couldn’t be happier.

Great value for money. Just take great care applying the silver paper so that water doesn’t wick up from the lower edge.

With the help of a friend (amateur specialist) it was quite an easy job. One nuisance is that each panel is too precise (no tolerance) that last three panels wouldn't fit the supporting bar. Thus we had to unscrew the last 3 bars during which we broke screws and had to get screws which was pain in the middle of assembling. It will be nice to provide some spare screws in the package or making panels with a little tolerance will be even better.

Well worth the money!

We have a 13.5m deck area down one side of our house that we decided we needed to cover. As we had already researched the PSP twinwall panels, we knew this product would suit us for this area. Trade Tested made the acquisition easy and there was sufficient expertise offered to assure me that we could “join” 3 of these kit sets together. We got a 3m, a 4.5m and a 6m kit set and put them up by ourselves. I have to say the product was simple and straight forward to work with - the biggest challenge as with most building projects was getting everything square and level. Once we achieved that, everything went together easily. I was particularly impressed with the way the roof panels “snapped” into the rails and did not need nails/fasteners/glue. They lock in place well, are not affected by wind (in our experience) and look great too! The only drawback was that some of the roof panels needed to be trimmed on the long side to enable a snug fit. I used an angle grinder to do this and it was a relatively simple fix. Joining one kit set to the next was simple. By placing one right next to the first, it is possible to silicon the join and the entire length remains waterproof. We love the finished product - it has added another room or “conservatory” to our home and made a rarely used space somewhere we now like to go and enjoy.

It's ok

For the price it's ok, just be aware that when you purchase and install ensure the lower end of The 8mm twin-wall polycarbonate roof panels is sealed once up, the rain gets trapped and doesn't go straight into the little gutter and water gets up into the wall of the panel and leave dirt/dust marks in the panel wall.
