Product overview

This free-standing, cantilevered patio cover is a stunning addition to any property.

With its floating design and sleek dark grey finish, it’s the perfect combination of form and function.

A top quality, high intensity alloy frame is powder coated for durability and combines with galvanised steel ground anchors for an exceptionally strong structure. Backed by a 5 Year Limited Warranty, you know it’s designed to handle New Zealand conditions.

The solid polycarbonate roofing panels feature a dark grey tint and an anti-UV coating that blocks 98% of harmful UV rays, essential for protecting exposed skin and car paint finishes. Highly impact resistant, the panels are approximately 200 times stronger than glass of the same thickness and feature excellent insulating properties, creating a cool shady area on those hot Kiwi summer days.

The cantilever design is great for areas with minimal room for anchoring, making these structures extremely versatile. As well as a patio cover, it’s perfect as a carport for your pride and joy, next to the pool, over the deck or for making your barbecue area an all-weather, year round outdoor kitchen.

Installation should be in a sheltered location and we recommend using concrete footings, especially in windy areas. Concrete footings should measure W 50cm x D 50cm x H 60cm.

A stylish and versatile addition to any home, transform your patio, driveway or outdoor entertainment area by ordering yours today.

Q:
I notice the large dimenison is 5.5m... which is too large for our patio. Is there any scope to reduce this to say, 4m x 3m? I.e not use some of the roof paneling?
A:
Yes, this could potentially be reduced if you have the know-how or a builder that can assist you. Feel free to give our sales team a call on the 0800 number to investigate further and they can share the manual so you can see what's involved.

Awesome - Quick Delivery and Great Support

What an awesome addition to our outdoor area, had a builder friend help me install, but could be done with two DIY skilled people. It has made such a massive difference to our ability to enjoy our outdoor area in rain and in sun. A very happy trade tested customer!

Bus Stop

I modified the legs to save digging up the concrete driveway and bolted the uprights to the concrete block retaining wall. An excellent result and an easy job to complete.

Patio Cover

So far fit for purpose. Being used to cover motorhome. Installed over 2 days (concrete set in between ) by 2 experienced trades people. Instructions terrible.

Great cantilever pergola

I love this pergola and it’s perfect for our space. Well made and seems strong and durable. It took two experienced tradespeople 1.5 days to assemble (half a day to lay out and set the posts, one day to assemble the roof). The instructions were slightly confusing at times, especially step 6 which needs a clearer picture.

Cantilever carport

Looks lovely up, and not too complicated in putting up. Just needed 3 to 4 people when lifting roof onto the two uprights

This is a good product , I would recommend it. I did find myself spending a lot of time figuring out the badly written instructions , that really frustrated me. I suppose if you are in the trade you wont need to read it and most unclear thing was mounting of the top frame to the initial pillars as well as the poly carbon sheet holder but if i re-read it afterwards it sort of makes sense. Did it mostly solo but you do need someone to help lift the top frame to the structure. 2 tall people should easily manage with ladders. It is not heavy just bulky and to lift it onto the frame does need a second person. Scaffolding is a bit extreme but probably safest. Dug bigger holes , recommendation is 50x50x60 , did 60x60x60 and used 28 bags of Drymix concrete readymix bags. Did one pillar at a time and made sure it was set before i did the second, allowed me to use a beam between the pillars to ensure they are exactly 3.5 m apart and straight (flush too) so was easy to mount the top. Took me 3 days as a novice solo job , either way the minimum time is probably 2 days so the concrete can set . Looks great and sofar so good.
