Easy to install, this blind features a wooden top rail and a powder-coated, galvanised steel bottom rail for strength and long life. Suitable for verandahs, pergolas or balconies etc. Want to join your blinds together? No problem, we have joining zippers available separately for you.

2021-03-02T21:52:41+00:00Does the job and feels sturdy. I wish I had known it had a seam in the middle - I would have moved a post and got 2 narrower blinds instead. Buyers should also be aware that the distance from the top bar to bottom bar is only 200cm not 240. The plastic goes lower but it would look odd if the bar was dangling 40cm above the deck. Luckily my pergola is only 2m high so it is a perfect fit.

It's been up for a month now and no issues, we are in a fairly windy place too. The only problem I had is there is a seam straight through the centre which to mega store ones dont have.

Would have given it more stars but I find it difficult to tightly roll up the blind. There is a technique to it...you need to roll it up manually without using the ropes and then tighten the ropes.

Recently, I had to replace one, the zip broke, ( accident) I thought the new one would stand out like a sore thumb, but, no, it shows just how well the rest have weathered and maintained their good looks. Would highly recommend these.

2019-09-14T00:56:19+00:00What sets these blinds apart from others sold elsewhere,and I have fitted plenty, is that the clear PVC is UV protected. Without this treatment, other brands I've seen perish with-in a couple of years. Its also important to hang these blinds with the canvas to the inside.

The service before the purchase was excellent (we weren't sure if this was possible to add to a metal gazebo or if it would work) and online support helped with this decision. :-) Also, the installation was easy despite us having to make a few adjustments (metal bolts) more suitable for a metal frame rather than wood. Minor flaws will be due to the joint area in the middle so no clear view for the size of blind. Another issue is it is wrinkly as expected with the thinner 0.5mm blind, but didn't see this coming for 0.7mm thickness.

This makes them compatible with my existing blinds. The price was very good compared to other local suppliers and delivery was very efficient.

2017-05-29T13:53:25+00:00we have purchase trade tested blinds twice now for different properties also once from a cheaper outlet. the cheaper ones have smaller sized zips which break a lot easier. but whatever ones they must be hung with the canvas covering the bottom rail to the inside and therefore will need small extentions each side to rll up properly. the first lot we have had for 5 yrs and the canvas part rots badly with sun etc. so if turned the other way with canvas facing inside we did not get this problem. Only take about 2 yrs to disintergrate completly but other wise they are great makes a fantastic room out of our deck

2017-01-17T13:29:06+00:00I bought the blind along with another one and joined them together, they keep the wind out great.One major problem was that I needed 3.1m of blind so the salesman said buy a 100mm joiner and then you will get the 3.1m, WRONG,you have to unzip the 2 side peices to put the joiner in and when you remove the side pces then the blind is narrower so when I put the joiner in I still only had 3m.Be very carefull about that ,it needed to be a 200mm joiner required. I now have a 100mm gap

2015-10-08T14:28:20+00:00My Husband & I built a pergola  as we like to get as much fresh as as possible  but when winter came was a little too cold  so We looked on the net  & found these out door blinds at trade tested This was & should I say is the best thing we have purchased  we  are under cover in all weathers  swinging on the swing or  eating  around the table with friends My husband is 79 years @ found it very easy  to put up by following the instruction this  is like a new room to the house I could go  on all I can say is thanks  for being a great  company to do business with  regards  Pamela
