Gardena Solar Powered Irrigation Aqua Bloom Set

Stops working when exposed to hot sun. Starts to work again once it cools down. Suggest that a black plastic body its not helping! Cant protect it from the sun as it needs the sun to charge! Had to replace the batteries early on.

Needed to have vege pods watered whilst away, worked a treated but then just stopped working. Disappointing to only last 4 months given the brand and cost. Recommend just because the concept is brilliant, don't recommend based on reliability

Bought one of these so I could run the vertical wall garden for a week using sunlight and collected rainwater. Easy to assemble, just need to think a bit about the plants growing in front of the solar panel. Now bought a second one for the front garden....

Easy setup, does exactly what it says it does. Recommended.

I was excited to receive mine in the mail on the weekend. Spent an hour setting up the lines and 8 hours changing the batteries in the full sun. But the unit would not operate. I discovered that the batteries hadn’t charge at all. I charged them in a wall charger but the unit would still not operate. Purchased new batteries and the unit worked once, but again didn’t charge the batteries. Charged the batteries in a wall charger but the unit will not work again.

Unfortunately it has stopped working, I don't know whether it is the batteries or the unit it self. It seemed like a good idea but something is wrong with it.

Purchased this so we didn’t have to worry about neighbours watering some young plants when we went away on holiday. Worked great! Easy to set up, easy to use, and with the solar it was just set it up anywhere with a decent bucket of water and it did the job. Not just for use when on holiday - we’ve left it working for over a month as a convenient way to keep plants watered.

Great for those extended breaks.

This is an amazingly inventive yet practical solution for the garden. Great use of solar power so very flexible on location. It was amazing over summer and enabled us to leave the garden with full confidence it would be adequately watered everyday. It’s a must have for any Gardner and gives you freedom to take a holiday and ensure your plants stay healthy.
