Are there covers or lids for these planter boxes to protect from frost and bugs, birds etc
No there are open for ease of use, however depending on the specific vegetable/fruit you are growing you can add some sort of shelter that would be suitable and allow whatever you are growing to survive.

How would you describe the look of the material it’s made of? Is it a natural wood like look or more plastic like?
It's not textured like wood, it's a smooth finish, however it's not high gloss like plastic.

Excellent product

Good quality and easy to assemble. Looks good planted up, I have since ordered another one.

Very Happy

I got 4 of these - unfortunately they didn't have larger ones, or ones that weren't that tan colour, but it was still way cheaper than getting a "proper" planter elsewhere that was close to the same size. They were easy to put together - not sure how long they'll last though.

Garden planter

Easy to assemble , parts lock together . We painted the two planter boxes we had purchased to tie in with surrounding features using a spray can . Finish looked great with the “ timber grain “ showing through . They take quite a weight of potting mix to fill but no sign what so ever of sagging or bowing .

No, I do not recommend this product.
Bad instructions and super fragile

Gutted after purchasing this. Was given incorrect instructions and when we tried to pull a piece out it cracked and broke. Definitely not happy. I’ll be going back to wood planters unfortunately

Just the best

We purchased 3 of these planter boxes recently. Our spuds are up and the summer vegies are doing so well. Would have no hesitation in recommending these. Will shop there again.

Muz Waitaki

Easy to assemble, 4 bags of potting mix and tomatoes are going gangbusters. Room for 2 happy plants in each planter. Happy customer.

Bruce Auckland

Perfect. We put our own stamp on the product, painted them red and put a dolly wheel on each end of a piece of timber and voila ! mobile planter boxes

Pretty happy with these

Probably going to buy 2 more, as they are just so handy to have. I put some copper tape around the base of them to deter slugs. These are nice and deep and easy to put together as well. They have 4 metal bars that go through the top and bottom (2 at bottom, 2 at the top) for support. But you can remove the top ones if you like. I have removed mine just so I could fit my spacing in how I wanted it.

Very happy with our purchase neutral colour blends in anywhere

Very nice planters

They were easy to put together and easy to fill. And I love the fact that they match our house exterior and our fence. It would be nice if they had wheels so we could move them around if have to. Would love a few more if I had the money to afford them!
