Will this apron resist sparks from a grinder or light welder?
A:
Yes it will, but you need to be careful of hot metal particles sitting on it - these will burn through it (unlike a trad leather apron).

I bought this apron to use while woodturning on my lathe. I reduced the length of the straps as they were more than I required. The quality is great and the pockets are a bonus. Recommended.

Looked at various options before settling on this apron. Its quality weight and serves its purpose well - it protects your clothes from much dust etc. Pockets are certainly useful. Putting it on takes some getting used to, but becomes simple.
