The 50.8cc engine has tremendous mid-range torque, so the machine does not have to be operated at maximum revs when drilling - giving you a quieter user experience, reducing fuel consumption and promoting long engine life. Fitted with easy-start technology the HYEA5080 engine is easier to start and its heavy-duty air filter ensures long engine life.
The HYEA5080 is supplied with 3 interchangeable steel auger attachments to perform professional quality work quickly and easily. Quick-action release ensures every drill bit can be changed in a flash.
The on/off switch, fingertip throttle control and safety trigger are mounted on the right hand grip, providing easy, precise and safe control. starts good runs perfect and easy to use. i should have bought one a long time ago. recommended for round the lifestyle block. wish it could take a 300mm auger though.
Great item , did the job perfectly.
Very happy with this machine. Was completely assembled in box, all I had to do was mix the oil/petrol mix and put on the auger. First use I was nearly sucked into the ground as my old borer had required a lot of effort to drill. This one was a breeze and came with 2 other augers as part of the price. Can't ask for more than that.
2 of the 3 augers broke tooth off Good machine augers not so good
I'm delighted after a month and over 50 holes dug. Super easy to set up and use. It's powerful. I've learnt that patience in using smaller size augers first, saves some torque wrenching - especially in stoney ground or with roots.
Have currently dug 150 holes with medium sized auger 15 strainer post holes one meter deep it's working well so far past. Post hole diggers that I have owned in the past the gearbox has worn out on them so only time will tell if that happens to this one
Is pretty quiet and easy to start, runs really well, as good as the centrifugal clutch is it does kick in a bit early for me so really like just hang an uninterrupted dig, small rocks can stop the rotation but I’m saying that it beats becoming a human helicopter

Runs well for its size
Perfect for our lifestyle block. Done dozens of fence posts, retaining wall posts and smaller work - a huge time and labour saver. Easy enough for an able person to handle. Starts easily as all the Hyundai engine seem to. Be a bit careful in wet soil to go slower and let it clear out the diggings (hold it up if you have to). Went a bit fast once and it corkscrewed right into the ground and I ended up having to dig it out.
