Product overview

Compact, tough and powerful, this 25T log splitter is the perfect way to crunch through your log pile.

The rugged Briggs & Stratton 208cc engine provides all the grunt you need, while oversized hydraulic components mean a class-leading cycle time of 9.7 seconds, helping you work quickly and easily.

The next-generation half-beam design is strong and, with the hydraulic reservoir centrally located, ultra stable. Combined with the rear mounted engine placement, central mount controls and dual work tables, this means Hyundai splitters can be easily and safely operated from both sides.

The half-beam layout gives you plenty of space to deal with logs up to 650mm long. Switching between horizontal and vertical operation is straightforward, thanks to a clever integrated grab handle on the cylinder.

The standard wedge suits most NZ firewood, or add the optional four-way cross wedge (pictured) to make short work of softer wood. A 50mm tow bar hitch and 16” tyres make maneuvering around larger properties fast and simple.

Simple to assemble and easy to use, it’s the back-saving workhorse that your property needs. Order yours today.

Unit is shipped with hydraulic oil (Valued at $139) - engine oil WILL need to be added before use. Some assembly required.

Is it able to be made road legal?
It's not something we've looked into, it would probably involve replacing the wheels & hubs, plus obviously adding lights. But there may be other issues, we'd suggest doing your own research if you were contemplating this.

Log splitter Purchase

Excellent machine and does the job well. The only negative is the instructions to assemble - not easy to follow.

A real work horse

I borrowed a friends log splitter to process 50+ pine trees. After the second day we were so impressed with the Hyundai splitter we bought our own. The 25 ton made quick work of some very gnarly logs. This is one of the best purchases we have made on our lifestyle block journey.

25T Log Splitter

Excellent product. Dad and 14yr old son got the job done in a couple of hours. Works like a dream and particularly love the vertical option for splitting those larger rounds. Already towed it round the farm - too easy. Starts first pull and doesn't put the shoulder out. Very happy with the purchase.

We received the log splitter and it was well packaged. The instructions were clear and found it relatively easy to put together. Well impressed with its splitting capabilities. It hasn’t had an issue splitting any types of wood. Easy to start and use. Both myself and my wife use it while the kids stack the wood. Great stuff.

25 ton splitter

Good solid machine. Assembly was a pain two strong people required. The instructions seem a bit backwards assembling the two heaviest bits and then attaching wheels drawbar etc. Splitter works really well on gum so far. haven't found anything that stopped it.

Hyundai log splitter 25T

Machine comes 90% fully assembled. It is a 2 man job to complete assembly, but the instructions are clear and it does not take long. It would help if Hyundai included a jockey wheel ex-factory as the machine is very heavy to lift onto a towball. Otherwise, the machine works well and is fully satisfactory.
