Most of the time it splits. And it works safely.

Electric splitter

This splitter suprised me. I have split mac, normal pine, old man pine, manuka, multiple other natives and it gets the job done. Can be hard to get through some old man pine, but thats to be expected i didnt think it would get through much, but defiantly suprised. The button you have to hold down down to operate the splitter can be a pain. Not a commercial machine at all, but for the home wood shed its plenty good enough, ive had mine tor two years and its still going strong. Would of split 8 cord easy. Add some grease to the tracks every now and then. A few wooden pallets are good to lift the height of the splitter to standing height. Highly recommend if you want to retire your axe. Work smarter, not harder.

Fantastic Product

Highly recommend the woodsplitter. Have whipped through 12 cube of firewood without it missing a beat. Should have bought this years ago and saved my back

This is the best thing since the invention of the wheel, my wife loves it and I can't believe the power produced by this splitter, only the gnarliest seasoned blue gum has been able to stop it. Apparently this is the best thing I've ever bought.

Hyundai Log Splitter 6T Electric

Although I wanted the 7T, this littler 6T (governed to 5Tmax.) version still packs a punch. Albeit the weight is in the motor and hydraulics, it is still lite enough to lift in and out of the car but I would still recommend two people. Great unit, robust, after 4 hrs of work on various types of wood we've leant what its limits are and its dangers. Well-valued. Be prepared with ears muffs handy though as the hydraulic pump is louder than I would expect :)
