Powered by the interchangeable G-MAX 40V Lithium-ion battery system which delivers longer run time, higher performance and greater output on all G-MAX tools, it has all the power of your old petrol unit without the noise and pollution.
The 51cm laser-cut dual-sided steel blade gives super smooth cuts and can deal with the gnarliest privet up to 18mm in diameter. The head can pivot through 125° into 7 different positions for total flexibility, letting you can cover all the angles including the underside of your hedge.
Cushioned over-mould handles and a full loop front switch provide comfort and, when combined with smooth G-MAX 40V power, noise and vibrations are kept incredibly low.
This lightweight design includes safety features like dual switches to prevent accidental usage and a safety brake.

I have some tall pittosporum hedges which I was struggling to trim with a corded electric hand held trimmer. My new extended Greeworks trimmer makes reaching to the top of the hedges much easier and results in a tidier finish. I use a battery from my Greenworks mower which gets better use out of my hardware. Only downside - the unit is heavier than I expected but not a big issue.

Being able to do my hedges from the ground is great, good quality trimmer.
Bought a new house with two large hedges. I got this hedge trimmer at the same time as a mower combo using the same batteries. This thing is great, I can walk along the hedge and get a really nice even cut at the top and shapes and trims the face beautifully.
Should have bought one years ago! No more climbing ladders!!
Very efficient trimmer. Can be used at different angles to get good access to the hedge. The battery lasts well. The only problem I have is the weight of the appliance. The head is heavier that I thought and is difficult to balance. I suppose I’ll just have to exercise more for upper body strength.
