Product overview

Curative and preventative, Turfclean Ultra from Kiwicare is your go-to fast acting lawn weedkiller.

This Kiwi developed & tested multi-action formula controls the broadest range of lawn weeds. It effectively kills broadleaf weeds including dandelion, clover, Hydrocotyle, Onehunga, selfheal, speedwell, oxalis, daisies, dock, plantain and more. Unlike similar products the balance of actives has been selected to reduce the risk of burn to fine turf grasses used in New Zealand lawns. Even better, it does it quickly! You can expect results within 2 days.

For best results: Mow 2-3 days before at a higher than normal height. For use on established healthy lawns dilute 10 ml with 1 L water (50 ml in 5 litres) or 8 ml into 1 L (40 ml in 5 litres) for lawn in stress - 1 litre diluted spray covers 10 m² lawn. Shake well. Apply using pressure sprayer. After applying, wait at least 7 days before mowing. Raise mower height for first cut.

• Multi action formula – systemic actives work together to control all the common broadleaf lawn weeds
• Curative – Kills existing broadleaf weeds, dandelion, clover, Hydrocotyle, Onehunga, & many more
• Preventative – continues activity in the soil to suppress growth of weeds and moss for an extended period
• Balance of actives selected to reduce the risk of burn to NZ lawns

I have a new Tall Fescue lawn (about 9 weeks old). Can I spray with Turfclean ultra to control weeds or is it to soon.
It's a little soon, for new lawns do not apply for the first 3 months. It's best to spray in Spring to Autumn and when your lawn is not stressed from drought too.

I have creeping buttercup which isn't affected by Lawn pro ultra. Any suggestions.
Buttercup, particularly creeping buttercup can be difficult to eradicate from lawns. Kiwicare LawnPro Turfclean Ultra, LawnPro Prickle and Hydrocotyle or LawnPro Turfclean applied to the lawn will control it but a second application may be necessary for eradication.

Will this Kiwicare lawnpro Turfclean concentrate eradicate selectively , Paspalum grass.
Selective weed killers such as LawnPro Turfclean kill one type of plant but not another–for example, broad-leaved weeds but not grass weeds. It will selectively kill Paspalum along with any similar broad-leaved weeds.

Kikuyu, it is a fine turf grass so there is a possibility of burning occurring when using this product.
