Lechuza Balconera Cottage Planter 80 - Granite

Definitely a quality product. Sturdy, looks smart and well engineered. We couldn't believe how quickly the plants grew. The watering design is the best I have seen and the clever level indicator makes it easy to decide when to top up the reservoir. See photo - real world results.

We have a small garden /decking area. Over the years I've purchased allsorts of plastic, ceramic, clay pots , and wooden tubs. Basically a jumble. I decided to get ride of them all and coordinate the planting area with a combination of Lechuza planters, (Balconera, Clinindro, Nindo Cottage hanging and Cube planters.) The transformation has been pleasing from a visual point of view and effective with the limited amount of space that was available.

I have a run of these planters on my apartment balcony. I used the brackets and extension bars and am very pleased with them. Easy to install, secure and easy to maintain plants with inbuilt water reservoirs.

We were pleased with the look of the planters and the ease of setting them up. However, the handles of the baskets do not hold together strongly, and I had to glue the two parts of each together to ensure they would not fall apart when removing them when full of earth. That was easy to do and does not affect what they look like.

The product is probably great, but I gave it away, because I was unable to purchase brackets for my balcony railing! I gave it away to someone who would use it as a planter on the ground. Disappointing because I have the hanging baskets and love them.

We were looking for a planter box for our apartment patio. This planter is just the right size to keep our patio neat and tidy. Love the design too!
