q: Can you please tell me what the spool diameter is under the rope. That being the part that the rope winds onto. I am wanting to buy a winch to power an electric trailer mover so the rope needs to be removed and a chain cog attached but I need to know the diameter to check that its not to big for the cog.
a: The drum size is: Ø32mm x 72mm.

q: Hi, are any of your winches suitable for a canam side by side atv.
a: Yes, this or the 5000lb could be a good option (depending on the weight). However it's not necessarily designed as a direct fit, so you will need to check bolt patterns and mounting plate requirements.

q: Is there a handle bar in/out switch please?
a: There is a remote switch, then a wired in out switch with a clamp. You can see this to the left in the main image.

q: Can you supply a mounting plate as well and at what cost?
a: No as this would be dependent on your specific application.

q: Your Q&A says it’s loaded with galv wire rope when the ad & photos say synthetic. Which is it?
a: These have just been upgraded to dyneema, so it's definitely synthetic.

Awesome winch for the price. I have a driveway on a gentle sloping section, the winch with a wireless remote allows me to monitor, maneuver and position a 1200kg Caravan wherever I want with ease and safety.

I fitted the winch to a Hyundai chipper to pull The chipper up inclines, the winch worked great and with the remote control operating the winch you can safely keep clear of the winch while operating. To mount the control box I cut an aluminium plate and used two pvc downpipe clamps that fit neatly around the motor.
