I bought these shears with some trepidation as they seemed much cheaper than others I reviewed on the internet. Much to my pleasure they arrived quickly and have been great for the garden tasks I wanted them for. Easy and comfortable to use, very sharp and cutting through foliage efficiently and cleanly. I could recommend them to any gardener with trimming in the garden to accomplish.

Over the years I've had a few different sets of shears, both one-handed and two, and would rate them somewhere between so-so and useless. Some just don't cut properly, others jam, and one pair kept pinching my hand. So I was a bit cautious about trying yet another pair, but I can't fault these from McGregor's. First impression on opening the package was that they looked the business, and so they have been. Sharp, strong and easy to use, even for my arthritic hands. I'm so impressed!

Great for tough grass edges, clean and easy. Would like an easy way of storing them so the blades stay together.
