Housing crisis? What housing crisis? This kids terraced playhouse is so awesome, you’d be happy to live in here yourself, even though the ungrateful little rascals will probably charge you rent.
With its traditional apex roof and veranda, it’s like something out of a fairy tale – the good kind! Made from quality, sustainable Nordic spruce, the 16mm thick panels come pre-assembled and with everything you need to make construction as straightforward as possible.
The twin perspex windows and working spruce door make it feel like a proper little mini-house, while the untreated finish means you can let the kid’s decide on a colour then get the paintbrushes out.
This traditional playhouse will not only look great in your backyard, it will provide endless fun for your kids or grandkids.

Kids Playhouse Kitset

2021-01-17T03:02:56+00:00We got this Playhouse for Christmas. It is a cute wee house and a good size. We built a separate floor for it as we planned to sit it on the grass. The instructions were easy to follow but a wee bit of building skill is required. The kids love it and I can see many hours spent in there.
Great Playhouse

2020-11-15T21:23:43+00:00Great Playhouse, but set aside a whole weekend to complete properly. I pre painted all exterior facing parts and stained the floorboards. Built a more solid sub frame from H4 timber to support the floor better (what is supplied was flimsy and wouldn't last long outside). I highly recommend buying the shingle roof upgrade, it really finishes it off well. I also ended up using all my own square drive galvanised fastners as it only came with zinc coated phillips head which are a pain to drive. I am extremely handy and its still a fair bit of work (mainly pre painting and roofing shingles) but excellent if executed properly.

2020-10-18T08:39:50+00:00Well constructed and ready to go with all the bits include (short maybe a handful of nails and screws but nothing I couldn't scrounge from the shed). I did get the (suggested) optional roof tiles and really advise doing so. While a pain to trim to length they've really brought the playhouse to a new level. These probably added a good hour or so to the build, but worth it. I also brought a role of Damp Proof Course from another store, (1m x 30m). It's nice and thin so can be easily stapled; which is what I did on the underside of the floor between the boards and runners. A bit more hassle but worth the extra moisture protection I think. I'd primed and painted all the pieces leading up to construction day and would recommend doing so if you have room and time. (I spent more time on this then the actual construction.) Two of us completed the build without rushing working 9-5. Build the floor before you're ready to build the whole thing, if you can move it on-site it's worth getting it right and not rushing.

2020-06-10T20:11:44+00:00Great little house for kids play- suggestion if u choose the addition of roof tiles - it requires 2x packs to complete not 1 as supplied as the tiles overlap when installed correctly.

2018-12-26T19:13:17+00:00I am not a builder. Took me and my mate 2 days complete the building with lots of other things in between. A whole day painting myself. Good quality if build properly, I switched provided weak floor joinsts with four fence posts. Cyan is the only common ground both my boy and girl agreed on finishing colour.

2018-12-12T17:56:32+00:00Arrived on time and in time for Saturday morning put together with my adult daughter. Whole assembly took about 4.5 hours but we did have a great day (and having a mate helps immensely). Grand daughter loves it and now readying it for Santa.
As expected

2018-10-31T19:01:43+00:00Good option for the price and relatively easy to build. Wood could be of better quality as some is very thin and floor quite spongy. Roofing felt is awful as grit on the felt gets everywhere and is hard to handle. Neat little playhouse and Mr (almost) 2 is stoked!
Not bad.

2018-03-06T12:43:29+00:00Overall I'm happy with this playhouse. I managed to get it built in just over 6 hours (although I'm a builder, YMMV) whereas a similar one built from scratch would have taken much longer and the materials would have cost roughly the same. The nails that came with the kit were non-galvanized which will probably rust before too long as we're coastal. Also the nails intended for the floor were slightly too long so I had to use my own. The door stop shouldn't go where the instructions say to put it as that puts too much strain on the hinges if the kids swing it open with force (put it further away from the hinges). I can't see this lasting for ages if installed in an area with a lot of strong weather or if used by particularly rough children. However, it looks good, the kids are enjoying it, and the price is right.

2018-02-24T06:57:13+00:00Overall it’s not bad but thought it would be of better quality for the money to be fair. Although 16mm, very spongy floorboards and joists are really then. Base and floorboards should already treated in my opinion to make things a lot easier, ails are lightweight and missing heads as if they’ve come out of a mass produced nail press with mild steel and instructions are a complete joke so if you’re not already handy you’ll struggle with this with how unclear everything is to follow. It looks the part though and I’m sure my daughter will enjoy it

2018-01-08T20:25:28+00:00This is a great playhouse. Straight forward to build but keep roofing felt off grass on hot day as gets hot. Kids and adults love it. We added a slide and later extended the deck with left over wood.

2017-11-17T20:15:24+00:00It was a fun challenge for my wife and her sister who assembled "Felix". Armed with the "trusted" manual and required tools, it turned out to be quite an easy task. With a curious n determined goal to put "Felix" together with a deadline, they managed to construct the playhouse...as our granddaughter proudly tells..."grandma and aunty are now 'true house builders' and engineers"! Materials were of good quality, pliable to work with, easily manageable and compactly delivered. We had a party over the weekend so the playhouse was truly a CENTRE-PIECE and mums and dads were keen, so have spread the word! "Felix" has added a valuable feature to our spacious outdoor living area. Playdates with school friends are planned for next week to show her "new toy" to her friends. We will upload a photo soon.
