With no gears to change and an automatic clutch it’s super easy to use; just fill it up with fuel, pull the starter and it’s ready to go.

Maximum speed is 32 km/h, so you know it’s got some poke, while the front and rear disc brakes and coil-over shock absorbers keep everything under control.

A mechanically able person will be required to carry out the set up and long term maintenance of this product. As with any petrol engine vehicle, mini quad type products require consistent maintenance and you will be required to service the engine and fit parts to this product as usage requires.

Sorry to ask, even thought this question has probably been answered but would this suit a 12 almost 13 year old boy? Thanks.

No it would most likely be too small - check out the listed seat height for an indication.

Can it go on the beach?

It would definitely affect the longevity (salt, sand abrasion etc etc), so we wouldn't recommend it and it would not be covered by warranty.

Would this item be suitable for a 8 year old? Just looking at the quad bike, it looks a bit small.

It might be for some, but not for others. The best thing to do is check the seat height in the description and this will give you a good idea.

I brought 2 of these bikes together, they are both running really well and they are the perfect size for my 4 and 6 year olds. Assembly was easy, one of the exhaust pipes had a loose / broken baffle but does not affect the operation.

Great fast shipping, was a little disappointed in the stickers when we opened the bike they were all wrinkled and looked like they were put on quick and carelessly. Pretty straight forward to put together. No safety wrist band that kills motor when unplugged. Turning down the throttle doesn't slow the bike down at all.

I have bought the kids quad bike 49cc and the razor McGrath dirt rocket sx350 from trade tested Auckland. Both received in good working order. Couple of learnings from these: Always remove petrol from tank if not being used for long periods (more than a month) as the carburetor requires cleaning from residual oil from petrol mix. Allow your kids time to learn to ride a normal bicycle, otherwise you will be the parent running alongside your kid on bike holding on for dear life as he guns it down the road trying to maintain the kid and your balance.. A humorous sight for bystanders but no good for your lower back!
