assembly problems

2020-12-17T21:51:25+00:00A number of the screw holes did not line up so the srews had to be hammered to 'bite"into the wood . In one case it then became impossible to screw in the screw because it had bent.

2019-11-01T19:31:53+00:00This is a great outdoor set for the price. Some minor defects chips in the timber. Only issue I have was with assembling the table. Some of the screws stripped using the hand screw driver provided. Using a power drill may have prevented this however was not recommended in the instructions. Otherwise this is a good looking outdoor table and chairs

Broken top extender

2019-03-14T06:52:02+00:00On unpacking the table, I discovered the extension section of the table top had come disconnected from the brace arm. The screws had pulled out completely! I was able to pack the holes and reattach the extension. The weight of the extension section is too heavy for screws while transporting. I would not recommend this to a friend until this issue has been remedied.

Ordered in November, expected 'early December' but didn't arrive till 4th Feb, which meant we went for a summer without table and chairs while waiting. No real communication regarding the delays, just a generic email every few weeks with the expected date pushed back several times. It wasn't until we called, after having no luck getting accurate answers to our emails that we got any real update. While I'd order from them again if the product was in stock, I wouldn't if it was back ordered.

It can easily fold down into a 4 seat table which is circular, or with the extension it becomes an oval shaped 6 seater and very easy to do. I purchased with 6 folding wooden chairs to match and now have a wonderfully stylish and flexible garden set.

2018-03-09T12:19:35+00:00The table & chairs are of good quality, the screws need to be nipped up before sitting down just to be sure there is no sideways motion. the products are well oiled so just give the whole thing a wipe down with a dry cloth to remove any excess oil. all in all very happy with our purchase.
