Gets the job done

Replaced my old smaller saw with this one as had plenty of trees to fell, although the first, being a palm it blunted the chain in one job. The chain tightener screw is not on the side as per manual, but next to the bar at the front and harder to access. Also uses so much bar oil it may not be as economical as my old one. However grunty enough for my purposes and value for money.

Little ripper

Bloody ripper of a chainsaw - after getting quotes of $3k+ to fell tree, I purchase this and it handled felling a huge 10m+ Australian eucalyptus tree. Chain was decent, but the file wasnt.

Great liitle starter

A positive and responsive starting system. The starter worked well the first and every time. The brake was very efficient too. There is easy access to the shut down system which is a safety feature but means I inadvertently turned it off several times. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Needed to replace my cheap hardware store saw and decided to go with the good reviews of this product. Was pretty easy to put together although I did watch a YouTube video to assist. Used a couple times now and really happy. Cuts easily with no fuss. I’ve been sawing logs into firewood and it makes it a breeze. Highly recommend

Ordering: Piece of cake. Did it on line and only took a few minutes. Delivery: Astounding. I ordered it early on a Thursday morning expecting it to take a few days but it arrived the next day. Starting: Excellent. I followed the starting instructions in the manual and it started perfectly on the second pull. the first pull was with the choke out so you cannot get better than starting immediately with the choke in on the very next pull. Operation: Easily cuts through the hard dry gum that I have and that stuff is very hard on your chain. Reliability: It has started on the second pull every time, except the one time I forgot to turn on the ignition. Didn't even flood it. It has not done a lot of work yet but if it keeps going as good as it has been so far then it is certainly worth 5 stars. Thanks Tradetested. Excellent supplier

Flash Chainsaw User experience

The chainsaw came 'semi' assembled. The instructions for fulltime assembly are clear and easy to follow. Once ready to use, the saw is a powerful and hard working tool. One point of attention: re-tighten all screws and bolts, as they tend to come loose. (I lost the safety guard bolt). But overall a good buy.

this chain saw has performed so far without any issues after 7 uses, when putting the chain together be careful to remember where the plastic spacer sits, it starts with ease and has plenty of grunt, I am more than happy with the purchase, good quality at a good price, why bother shopping elsewhere, thx

I bought this chainsaw because my old (famous name) one refused to start despite several firms trying to fix it. The Flash chainsaw starts first time, every time. This is a huge safety benefit - you don't get worn out trying to start it, and you don't have to carry it around with it running. All the functions, including the chain oiler, work just fine. Very good value for money.

Have been able to tackle several large trees on our property ourselves, can use over several hrs. The chain has come off a few times and it does tend to leave oil spots behind on the ground but that could be due to user error. Grunty and reliable.

Used the chainsaw to fell some tree branches, some inawkward positions the Flash performed well. The on off switch does inadvertently turn off occasionally by accident due to it's position.
