Product overview

When it comes to carrying large items on the roof of a vehicle, tradies know best.

TuffRacks are designed and built in New Zealand specifically for the trade market, so you know they are the toughest around. Made from stainless steel, TuffRacks look great and are super strong. Each bar is individually assembled and has a load rating of 160kg.

These racks use a gutter-mounting system and consist of an inner and outer section which allows adjustment from 1050mm to 1500mm, so they can fit a wide range of vehicles. Tuffacks are sold as single units and vehicles will require 2-3 racks.

The racks come complete with everything you need to install them. Before ordering, figure out the clearance you need by measuring your vehicle from the bottom of the roof gutter to the highest point of the roof and make sure there is at least 20-25mm of clearance to the bottom of the bar. The TuffRack Standard has 175mm of clearance from the gutter-mount to the bottom of the bar.

TuffRacks are the strongest, most reliable and the best value for money roof racks available, which is why they are essential equipment for everyone from builders, plumbers and electricians, right through to DIY champions and camping enthusiasts. Grab yours today.

Hi, would these fit for a 2006 Toyota Hiace?
A:
Most likely yes. It fits into a traditional style roof gutter witch it looks like your van has, would be best to have a quick measure to be sure. This unit has a high up from the gutter of 175mm and a max width of 1500mm, we also have a 300mm high unit if needed too

Good strong roof rack and easy to install.

PaulS Canterbury
Excellent Product

Highly recommended racks easy to fit and very robust.

Rich Gisborne
Very strong

Wasn’t expecting to be as durable as I thought till I pulled it out of the box , mainly got this set to start loading on rondo battens to start my journey on supplying & installing , pretty confident it can handle , as I do believe the rack can carry 160kg per rack which is impressive compared to other racks that are 50-80kg per rack, tools you need for this is a measuring tape , level & adjustable wrench

Dan Mt Roskill
No, I do not recommend this product.
Strong roof rack

Has to be one of the best if not the best roof rack on the markets for a tradies van hold that extra weights that others can’t hold

Josh Hamilton
Roof racks

I've had them for a couple of months, they are quiet, solid and firm. I particularly like the design with the rounded high ends you are able to secure your load easily. Still look like new.
