Product overview

When it comes to carrying large items on the roof of a vehicle, tradies know best.

TuffRacks are designed and built in New Zealand specifically for the trade market, so you know they are the toughest around. Made from stainless steel, TuffRacks look great and are super strong. Each bar is individually assembled and has a load rating of 160kg.

These racks use a gutter-mounting system and consist of an inner and outer section which allows adjustment from 1050mm to 1500mm, so they can fit a wide range of vehicles. Tuffacks are sold as single units and vehicles will require 2-3 racks.

The racks come complete with everything you need to install them. Before ordering, figure out the clearance you need by measuring your vehicle from the bottom of the roof gutter to the highest point of the roof and make sure there is at least 20-25mm of clearance to the bottom of the bar. The TuffRack Low has 135mm of clearance from the gutter-mount to the bottom of the bar.

TuffRacks are the strongest, most reliable and the best value for money roof racks available, which is why they are essential equipment for everyone from builders, plumbers and electricians, right through to DIY champions and camping enthusiasts. Grab yours today.

Would they fit a 1996 Mitsubishi Delica Chamonix?

Not sure! You need to measure the height from the gutters to the highest point of the roof - then you can figure out if these are high enough.

Q:
Would these fit my HJ60 toyota landcruiser?
A:
Theoretically as you have traditional rain gutters, however you may need to check height clearances (gutter channel to top of roof) and overall width gutter to gutter as a quick google shows some high-roof versions of the HJ60 and it's pretty wide.

Q:
Hi will these fit the new Suzuki Jimny. It has rail gutters.
A:
Should be fine if it has traditional roof gutters, you need to measure the height of the roof from the gutter and the width of the vehicle to ensure clearance is adequate.

135mm Roof Rack

Got 3 for my van. Fitted out of the box. Only let down is the standard zinc parts. These will be the first bits to rust.

Better racks available

Racks are OK but for the cost there are better racks available. Vibrate in the wind as driving due to the square shape. D fixing is also in an annoying spot for tying loads on. Needs to be on the outside. No very happy with them

Roof rack

Preferred the old model as bar was a bit longer out the ends which made it easier for us to tie down with rope. But otherwise still good
