Q:
Are these greenhouses very wind resistant?
A:
They aren't designed for high wind areas, but they're pretty sturdy. Our best suggestion would be to install in as sheltered a spot as possible and read the reviews on this and other sizes to see how others have a got on and where they installed.

Q:
Want to grow tree tomatoes in this. Would it be psyllid proof?
A:
These have ventilation windows with insect screens to prevent insects getting inside. As long as these are assembled and fixed securely that will provide the best protection against insects.

Q:
How do you fix it to the ground? Does it have pegs and or guide ropes as quite windy where I live.
A:
It doesn't come with fixings as there are lots of ways to do it, depending on where it is going. You can use pegs, steel warratahs (see the 3m x 6m customer photos), bent rebar or similar if it's going directly onto the ground. Some people build wooden boxing and attach over the top using brackets and wood screws etc. Take a look at some of our customer photos on the different models for ideas, or give our sales team a call on 0800 800 880.

A:

Love it!

I thought putting the tunnel house together with my husband would end in divorce but it was actually really easy to do and was done in an afternoon. It has survived strong winds and heavy rain. We ended up buying another one and the veges and watermelons are growing great!

Excellent

Great, easy to assemble sturdy, heaps of room. If your wanting a tunnel house this the one. Highly recommended.

Not for use in high wind areas

Have had two of these. In concept they are okay but the frame is not strong enough to withstand high winds

No, I do not recommend this product.
Good buy

A good greenhouse for the money. Day 2 ours was doing cartwheels over the paddock as we hadn't tied it down enough. It survived well despite a bit of cow manure! Have since used grunt ground screws which have a circular top to them that fits perfectly through the greenhouse frame base. It's not going anywhere now, and what I should have done from the start. Well advised to do so.

Great

I purchased this to have it set up inside another poly house. Works well for this purpose

Evergreen Tunnel House Greenhouse 3m x 8m

Totally recommend. We got this during 1st lockdown and is still going. Will probably need to replace next year maybe?? We have not had to buy vegatables since late 2020, only a couple of times and then about $50 max a year if that.

Does the job - great for the price

This was the second one we've purchased. First one stood up well to all other storms, but the Cyclone Gabrielle winds were too extreme, and we have it sited in an exposed location :( This time we weighted the side flaps with wood before we buried - see how that goes. Hopefully no more big cyclones for a while. We've been very pleased with it, currently housing the veggies we're growing for our three families.

Evergreen Tunnel houses

This is the third one I have purchased and I love them. They are affordable and although the windows perish over time and velcro on the outer windows also becomes brittle and none adherent I still can recommend this product for anyone looking to grow at home.
